The ones that pretend to be political polls, like 'Obama: socialist?' Or 'Do you support the president?' Very leading, but they're actually ads. Reply #2. Jul 31 09, 6:20 PM |

Freecreditreport.com has by far the most annoying ads I have ever seen. Reply #3. Jul 31 09, 6:38 PM |

Most annoying internet ad? Any "rollover" ad, because most of them aren't marked rollover, and you have to work out where it's coming from, and concentrate on avoiding it: and any ad that flies in from the edge of the screen, and spreads till it's obliterating what you're looking at - or trying to look at. Often they're covering your screen for a good ten seconds before the "x" appears for you to close it. Sometimes there isn't one. If that happens I close the page and look somewhere else. Most annoying TV ads - meerkats, followed closely by biskwits. Reply #4. Jul 31 09, 7:23 PM |

I am so sick of hearing the Smileys say "Hello!" when I scroll over them at the top of this page ! I know if I upgrade to a Gold Membership, they will go away, but do any of you know an easy way to get rid of them without doing that? Thank you for your help. Reply #6. Jul 31 09, 8:06 PM |

Most ads on tv are loud and noisy. What I don't like is that I have to keep ajusting the volumn on the tv. Also there are too many of them. A show that is 1 hour winds up down to 45 minutes. Reply #9. Aug 14 09, 7:05 PM |

It's gotta be one that Quizno's came out with about seven years ago, with the singing gerbil-looking things. Reply #11. Jul 17 10, 11:29 PM |

In the UK there are a couple that drive me round the bend, Gocompare.com for car insurance with an opera singer, it was quite funny when it first came on but now I would like to shoot the guy as soon as he opens his mouth. Another one is the Direct Line insurance ad with Stephen Fry & Paul Merton doing the voice overs. Fry is everywhere, I expect him to turn up on my door step trying to get me to change utility company's next, give us a break. Comming up fast in the annoying stakes is Iggy Pop in the Swiftcover ad, and thats exactly what he needs, nuff said. Reply #12. Aug 07 10, 10:57 PM |

All ads are annoying. In Australia at the moment we are being bombarded with political rubbish. Can't wait for the election to be over - past caring who wins; just stop the ads ! Reply #13. Aug 07 10, 11:34 PM |

Ain't that the truth, Tezza! Also there's a lot of adds beginning to appear here because it's a retiree mecca (I call it Geriatric City) on advising Baby Boomers who are all coming up to retirement and so on, about funeral plans and wills. Talk about insulting. They're only just finishing a lifetime of working for a living and looking forward to a bit of relaxation time in a couple of years - and the funeral companies etc are already sniffing at their door. And the grim old couples they get to do the adds! One foot in the grave and one on a banana skin. It's real "What''s yer hurry - here's yer hat" thinking. Reply #15. Aug 09 10, 4:35 AM |
