Who's The Expert has never included ANY Television category. (TV Stars Mixed is from Entertainment.) Reply #1. Apr 21 13, 9:31 PM |

That's true. But it still doesn't answer my question. Is it not possible for technical reasons or maybe that's the general rule not to include anything from TV categories? Reply #2. Apr 22 13, 3:24 AM |

Even though I pride myself on having never watched an episode of Friends, enough people did watch it where this would seem to be a category that could certainly be considered, along with maybe Seinfeld, M*A*S*H* and Saturday Night Live. Reply #3. Apr 22 13, 7:30 PM |

Wouldn't think it'd be much of a stretch given the fact I just did the 'Online Comics' quiz and was asked 15 questions on Homestar Runner which i'd never heard of. Reply #4. Apr 23 13, 12:19 AM |

I would say something nasty about Online Comics/Homestar Runner, but it was the first category in 224 hours (9+ days)that I hadn't already won. I'm for any new categories in this game. P.S. I mistyped earlier. TV Stars Mixed is actually under Celebrities, not Entertainment. Reply #5. Apr 23 13, 8:15 AM |

I thought "Friends" was great fun. I also loved and continue to love "Seinfeld." That being said? My bet is, I would never win an Expert win in either category. It would be fun if they were added or existed, but I'll stay on the fence with this one and watch to see how this conversation progresses. I don't know enough about "these have never been expert categories" or "television has never been an expert category" to really be of much help with this, so I want to watch and learn. I am here to LEARN! No. Really. I am. But... if you are interested in just playing quizzes in these categories? I do know of a really fun "Seinfeld" public/private tournament that appears to be host-less now, but has been running for years, is still running, we are still playing although there is (are?) only a small handful of us, and it is honestly great fun. The shoutbox is fun, the camaraderie is fun, the trip down memory lane is fun -- it's just one big ball of fun! If you're interested, and of you, let me know and I'll fire off the link to you. Otherwise, I'm going to watch this play out to see where it goes. I am definitely interested in this topic, but I don't think I know enough about it to make contributions that would be helpful. Excluding this one, which just helped me! :) Reply #6. May 04 13, 2:05 PM |
