Same problem with Upcoming on the Expert Game and trying to pan over badge and badglets on Profile screen. Have new laptop with Windows 8. My screen also does the frug or a little dance in several areas like you describe. Happy I have my desktop to fall back on. Reply #1. May 04 13, 9:55 PM |

Windows 8 on a laptop is going to cause more problems than just the ones you and I both mentioned. I don't play trivia on my PC, and while I suppose I could, the thought of having to sit up so straight in that chair kind of makes me grimace. I've found a few more places on this site where just holding my cursor over the option doesn't work anymore, and I really need to know the things I can't see! I hope someone comes up with solutions because I have none. But yow, it is so frustrating. Reply #2. May 04 13, 10:04 PM |

Blackdresss, ditch Internet Explorer and switch to Chrome. Much more user friendly and all of the features work more efficiently. I found IE to be very problematic in little ways. I'm sure once you get the hang of Chrome, it'll save you much grief. Reply #4. May 06 13, 8:27 AM |

I use IE9 with Windows 7. No problems. You can get rid of IE 10, and then go to oldversion dot com to download IE9. Reply #5. May 06 13, 8:59 AM |

I believe if you click on tools and enable active x for FT site your problem will be solved. Hope that works! Reply #6. May 06 13, 7:41 PM |

I am having the same problem on my desktop. Tried the suggestion about the filter, but it didn't work. Thanks, though :) Reply #7. May 08 13, 10:36 AM |

Thank you so much for these handy tips! I'll let you know if any of them work. It is so discouraging when "they" fix something that just isn't broken, isn't it? Crazy updates! Reply #8. May 08 13, 6:53 PM |

Switched to using Firefox as my browser instead of IE10 with my Windows 8 laptop to solve the problems and everything appears to be working for me. Reply #9. May 09 13, 1:31 AM |

to uninstall ie10 go to add/remove programs, then at the top tick show windows updates, then remove ie10 and ie9 should then be available after a restart. I recommend chrome whether you are on PC,Mac or linux. Reply #10. May 16 13, 11:58 PM |

If enabling active x for FT doesn't help, try this. Click on "page", while on FT, click on compatibility (esp if page symbol appears to have a tear across the middle). Hope that helps. Reply #13. May 28 13, 6:50 AM |
