http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/technology-blog/incredible-legacy-steve-jobs-mouse-ipad-011010682.html I never realized how much Steve did in his life. Lucasfilm to Pixar to Toy Story to Apple (where he returned Apple development back to under one roof). He accomplished a great deal in his life. A very short life. Passing at the age of 56, one wonders how much more he would have accomplished if health issues had not taken a man of such vision. A little engine that could, and did. Well done, Mr. Jobs! Reply #1. People all over the world are paying tribute to Steve Jobs. The photographs here are especially moving, I think: http://snipurl.com/11sngo Reply #4. Oct 06 11, 9:01 AM |

People holding up iPads with lit candles is moving. I wonder if Steve ever realized what a difference he made. Reply #5. Oct 06 11, 9:10 AM |

"People holding up iPads with lit candles is moving. I wonder if Steve ever realized what a difference he made." The photo with the candles really got to me. What better way to honor this man than through his own invention? As for your second comment: I didn't realize he had such iconic status, but now I know. He created a "whole new world" for a certain generation (younger than my own). Reply #6. Oct 06 11, 9:26 AM |

People on the news this morning were calling him the "Edison of our time". Reply #7. Oct 06 11, 10:10 AM |

It's a shame he died but this just goes to show you that death gets us all in the end, even the super rich. Death does not discriminate, that's for sure. Rest in peace, Mr. Jobs. Reply #9. Oct 06 11, 11:12 AM |

Yes, Death is indeed the Great Leveler. I just mourn the loss of a person relatively young who had so much left to contribute, to humanity as well as to the business world. May he rest in peace. Reply #10. Oct 06 11, 11:20 AM |

Apparently Westboro 'people' are planning to protest Mr. Job's funeral. http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/lookout/westboro-announces-protest-steve-jobs-funeral-iphone-141530936.html Reply #11. Oct 06 11, 12:17 PM |

It was also poor timing. His family is having a hard enough time without someone posting such a thing. Reply #16. Oct 08 11, 7:35 AM |

Here's the cover of the new issue of Time magazine. The lead story is by Walter Isaacson, who has a biography of Steve coming out on October 24th. http://www.time.com/time/covers/0,16641,20111017,00.html Reply #17. Oct 08 11, 2:27 PM |

A great man, whose innovations and ideas have changed the way we think, has left us. May his soul rest in peace. Reply #18. Oct 11 11, 6:51 AM |
