I'm not sure who the BEST actor is but I think Emma Watson fits Hermione. By the way to the person who said Alan Rickman lives in their village, you know Snape? Cool :D. Now that I think about it, Tom Felton (draco) and Alan Rickman (snape) are both good actors but I'd never thought of that. I agree that in the first movies daniel radcliffe was a bit less believable but he wasn't bad, he was only like 10. But he has improved. Reply #41. Apr 15 09, 2:15 AM |

Definetly Richard Harris as the original Dumbledore, Alan Rickman as Snape, Gary Oldman as Sirius and Dame Maggie Smith. I even enjoyed Robbie Coltrane as Hagrid. Reply #42. Apr 19 09, 9:29 AM |

I enjoyed all the books and have liked all the movies. However, no one actor or actress stands out to me as being exceptional. The closest one to outstanding would be Minerva McGonagall. Reply #43. May 07 09, 7:49 PM |

I think that our trio, Harry (Daniel Radcliffe) Ron (Rupert Grint) and Hermione (Emma Watson) did great. But the whole cast did AMAZING Reply #44. Jun 26 11, 3:45 PM |

I think Maggie Smith as Minerva McGonagall is wonderful. She doesn't overplay the part and is completely convincing as Professor McGonagell. (She can play for the laugh too) I had no idea who she was when I saw the first movie. She played : Desdemona in Othello Miss Brodie in The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie Thetis in Clash of the Titans The Reverend Mother in Sister Act As well as many more films I hope to see. Reply #45. How can I pick one? They're all incredible, though I favor Emma Watson, because she rocks, and Tom felton, Alan Rickman, and Ralph Fiennes, because they play bad guys. Though EVERYONE rocks! Reply #46. Jul 08 11, 4:26 PM |

I don't think there has really been a misfitting of characters and actors - I think everyone performed their role (almost) perfectly. Except Ginny (Bonnie Wright), or maybe I'm just biased because of the dislike of the character. On reflection, I liked Emma Watson's portrayal of Hermione in both Deathly Hallows films - and wasn't she stylish?! It was just in the Goblet of Fire that I wasn't that keen. Reply #48. all the actors in the cast were pretty convincing though some like Emma Watson (Hermione) Alan Rickman (Snape) and Tom Felton (Draco) really playedtheir character well. I didn't really like Ginny in the movie even though I thought she was pretty cool in the books. I also expected Fred and George to have a bigger part in the movie. Reply #55. Oct 14 12, 1:12 AM |

Among child actors, I like Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood) the most. Adult cast is almost perfect, it's hard to say who's the best. Reply #58. Dec 09 13, 4:21 PM |

Imelda Staunton as Dolores Umbridge was a great choice of the cast group! I have always enjoyed her acting: Crawford, Shakespeare in Love, Sense and Sensibility, Nanny McPhee... Reply #60. Nov 29 19, 4:09 AM |
