Embarrassing photos? Years ago, we were very poor. We'd moved from a cheap area to an expensive one, bought a house and had no money spare. At all. Nada But my daughter had set her heart on a Gameboy for her birthday...and was trying to be brave about the fact that we couldn't afford one in the forseeable future, even though it was THE toy of the time and all her friends had one. Then a job opportunity came up. Two days dressed as a giant pink Easter rabbit handing out chocolate eggs as a promotional deal. And I took it. Photos were published in the paper, fortunately using my alias of Easter Rabbit. Hello Llamas and Pirates, I unfortunately stumbled into a very strange chat thread on my first venture into the FunTriva chat rooms. I nearly cancelled my membership there and then but then some nice people sent me some messages and encouraged me to stay and try this chat thread. No, you just jump right in and see who's around. I'm glad you found us. If you go back a few pages, blackdresss is the latest new person who has had a chat, she's in Colorado. One of the interesting things about llamas and Pirates is that we are spread across from Europe to the States, so there's usually someone around to argue with...oops, I meant discuss stuff. The Revenge of the Llamas is one of the teams on FT, JH0308, and the Chain Gang is another - only most of the time, the criminals prefer to be called pirates, they think it has a better ring to it. Anyway, the two teams have what we call "a friendly rivalry" which could mean anything and often does. :) This is the latest thread on which we can exchange views, comments, mad ideas, insults, and general repartee - joined by anyone on FT who likes to pop in. Everyone is welcome. Especially people from St Vincent & the Grenadines! Every so often, the Llamas like to go on an excursion. Some of us are British and like to travel - and some of the Americans and Australians don't get out much so they tag along. We visit other countries on FT, play the regional game, and generally participate in the regional messageboard for a day - and our last trip out was to St Vincent & the Grenadines! No one was home though, so we left - a bit suntanned and with sand in our toes! Very nice it was too, thanks for the hospitality, even though you missed it. :) Reply #1933. Jan 03 09, 6:50 PM |

Was it? Don't tell them that, they gatecrashed our last outing and we had to call in the pest control - their ship has rats you know. I'd say the way to tell llamas from pirates is how we treat members of the other team... Llamas tread carefully, wandering the slopes of FT winning challenges and badges where they roam...
