I thought he was brilliant in the Deer Hunter and also really liked him in Joe Dirt with David Spade. Reply #1. Dec 30 09, 6:56 AM |

Yup, Joe Dirt lol, I loved when Christopher Walken claimed Joe as family :) He's had so many great movies and I love the way he talks. He is one of my husband's favorite actors also :) Reply #2. Dec 30 09, 8:17 AM |

One of my favorite actors. The dialogue scene he has with Dennis Hopper in the movie True Romance is top-notch. He was also good in Man on Fire. "Death is his art and Creasy is about to paint his masterpiece". That is a great line right there. Reply #4. Dec 30 09, 1:22 PM |

I don't know if you guys have ever heard of the movie King of New York but that is a Walken movie right there and one of favorites. If you have not seen this movie I highly recommend it. Reply #5. Dec 30 09, 10:21 PM |

I like the guy, he's a bit strange but he's a good actor, sort of creepy and scary at times. He's also a talented dancer. I liked him in Last Man Standing and Things To Do In Denver When Your Dead. He seems to go for these offbeat parts like Sleepy Hollow and The Prophecy, they were really good too. Reply #6. Dec 31 09, 8:55 AM |

I loved his reciting the lyrics to Lady Gaga's "Pokerface", so deadpan and very funny. Check it out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xy5JwYOlgvY Reply #7. Dec 31 09, 9:29 AM |

Walken is a unique actor. He plays so many nut jobs or bad guys that it is refreshing when he plays the dad in Catch Me if You Can and does a lovely singing turn in Hairspray. His training as a musical theater performer is well displayed in his terrific dancing cameo in Pennies from heaven. Reply #10. Jan 02 10, 1:49 PM |

Christopher Walken one of my favorite actors. The only person who I may like more is Bruce Campbell. I like Walken in every movie he does. I like his parts in Gigli, Kangaroo Jack, Envy, Click, the Country Bears, and a few more of the awful movies he made. The movies I like with him in it are Joe Dirt, Deer Hunter, the Dead Zone, the Prophecy, King of New York, True Romance, and Sleepy hollow. Also the Fat Boy Slim video Weapon of Choice where he dances is my favorite music video. Walken is #1. Reply #11. Jan 03 10, 8:39 PM |

The Deer Hunter, True Romance and just about everything else he has done. Anybody see At Close Range with Sean and Christopher Penn? Great movie. Seriously, he could read the phone book and you would be entertained! Reply #12. Jan 08 10, 4:45 AM |

I was on YouTube the other day and I watched a clip of Christopher Walken on the Jonathan Ross show. He read the Three Little Pigs. It was the best version I have ever heard by far. Reply #14. Jan 27 10, 11:43 PM |

Christopher Walken is no one-trick pony. The man has amazing range and depth. Can't think of many American actors who can go from Shakespeare to musicals to creepy movie villains within the space of a year. Moreover, I can't think of many Hollywood actors who have been married only once, and is still with the woman he married in 1969! Reply #15. Feb 18 10, 10:54 AM |

I'm amazed nobody mentioned "Pulp Fiction". Walken is only in it for about five minutes, but it's brilliant. The gold watch routine is one of the funniest things Tarantino ever wrote, and Walken does it dead solid perfect. Reply #16. Feb 18 10, 12:19 PM |

I love the way he acts. I love the way he throws the pitches of his voice, and how he can be deadly serious one moment and a complete clown right away. Reply #18. Feb 20 10, 2:02 PM |

We just saw him on Broadway in "A Behanding in Spokane," a dark comedy by Martin McDonagh. He was hilarious as a depressed middle-aged man with long gray hair, searching for the hand that he lost in his youth. The play takes place in a seedy hotel room, where Walken's character is holding two con artists hostage, threatening to blow them up, while worrying about his elderly mother. If anyone gets to New York in the next couple of months, definitely put this play on your to-do list. It's Walken at his best. Reply #20. Mar 10 10, 4:48 PM |
