Sadly the nearest to any USA state I have been, is either Yokohama or Belfast (depending on which coast you head for). Reply #43. May 24 11, 2:19 AM |

Not counting transfers at the airport, I've done 9, which I think is pretty good for someone who isn't American. Reply #49. Jul 18 11, 8:02 AM |

Do we have to be able to spell them correctly? Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, Delaware, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Ohio, Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Quebec and California. Oops, not Quebec. I've made it there but it's not a state yet. Reply #51. Aug 07 11, 12:23 PM |

Hmmm, let me think... I've been to... Arizona Arkansas California Colorado (born and now live) Connecticut Delaware Florida Idaho Illinois Indiana Iowa Kansas Kentucky Maryland Massachusetts Michigan Montana Nebraska Nevada New Hampshire New Jersey New Mexico New York North Dakota Ohio Oklahoma Oregon Pennsylvania Rhode Island South Dakota Texas Utah (lived for a few months) Washington Washington DC Wyoming Wow, that's 33 as well as DC. I had no idea I had only missed 17 of them. ;-) (And I don't even know if that's the full list, my parents say we used to travel a lot when I was between 0 and 3). I've been out of the states only twice; to the Bahamas both times, and one of the times I was in my mother's stomach. ;-) Reply #53. Aug 11 11, 10:09 AM |

Washington Oregon California Nevada Arizona Utah Montana Idaho Wyoming South Dakota Iowa Indiana Illinois Michigan New York Pennsylvania Maryland DC - I know, I know, not a state but it doesn't fit in! New Jersey. 18! Not bad for a two trips across the pond. An interesting question would be how many english counties have I visited... Hmmm is there a thread for that? Reply #55. Sep 20 11, 8:43 AM |

Funny, mehaul, Colorado replaced Quebec in the NHL, too! I have been to Washington, California, and Florida for actual visits, passed through northern Maine on a Canadian train between New Brunswick and Quebec, and changed planes in Georgia, Colorado, Nevada, and Utah. Puerto Rico isn't a state, but I've also been there (after several of those plane changes). Reply #60. Mar 14 12, 1:10 PM |
