Paul Hester, the drummer for Crowded House. He had such a great sense of humor and a sweet demeanor, and I think given the chance he would have brought a lot of joy to the world. Reply #3. Jun 27 11, 5:34 PM |

Adolf Hitler and Joe Stalin, hand in hand, 'cos it might give all those "Ooh, the Muslims are coming" folk, something really horrible to think about. Reply #5. Jun 27 11, 7:30 PM |

If I could bring someone back to life it would be my dad. Because I miss him so much since he died when I was 15 & of course a girl always needs her dad no matter what!! Reply #11. Jul 23 11, 7:23 PM |

First, my son. Second, my mother. Then my father, then my husband. After all that, I'm so tired I can't do any more. But....if not my relative, then.....Mark Twain! Reply #12. Aug 14 11, 4:20 PM |

Most of my family is deceased now. I miss my sister the most (like hourly) because she was my lifelong best friend. Next would be my mother, it's been 16 yrs. since I last saw her. I miss my brother, my father and so many family members. Don't take anyone for granted, life with loved ones is much too short. Reply #13. Aug 16 11, 12:24 AM |

wyambezi, that is so true! Life is too short & so is the time we have with our families. I lost both of my parents & a brother when I was pretty young, all 4 of my Grandparents, plus some Aunts & Uncles. If I had only known back then when they were all still here that our time together would be so short, I would have made sure we spent more time together. :( Reply #14. Aug 16 11, 2:41 AM |

Great-grandmother Esther, great-grandmother Minnie, great-uncle Harry, great-aunt Jean, and great-great-aunt Betty... All died before I really got a chance to know them. One great-uncle, George, passed away before I was born, and cousinArdi died when I was yet a baby--I hear things said about him, and wish he were still alive so I could meet him. There are some lovely animals I wish were still around: Rocky, Grandma and Uncle Michael's black lab puppy, most of all. Reply #15. Aug 16 11, 2:04 PM |

Callie, don't you wish we were born with this knowledge (that life with loved ones flies by)? When I was in school I envied classmates with grandparents. Three of mine were dead long before I was born and the only grandmother I had was about 2,000 miles away so it was rare to see her. I only recently learned she was difficult to deal with so I guess I finally understand why my mother left Canada at a young age and moved to another country. There seems no end to what you can learn about your family even years after they're gone. :) Reply #16. Aug 19 11, 12:19 AM |
