Subject: Get well soon, Rowena

She's just had a couple of days in hospital again, and hopes to be home tomorrow or Monday (7th or 8th).

Rowena, we're looking forward to seeing you again, glowing with health thank you please. (Have a peep at my "blog" for a load of get well messages.)

Welcome home! It's lovely to have you back with the FT folk.

Take care, be good and listen to those who are looking out for you.

I brought something to add to the cakes...

Poor man! Just as well, really, because he would definitely be bald now - this one sounds even scarier than the first one. Please promise you won't do it again?

Yay! Lovely to have you home Rowena.

No lol - I'd say I spent two days tied to the hospital bed but it sounds very dodgy! I mean with a drip and several fat colour coded wires! I am enjoying being able to go to the loo all on my own again just now.

Ooh that is a soup and a half. I can't imagine anything that soup could not achieve.

Oh yes - I'd forgotten about the restorative properties of bread pud! Stand by your letterbox, Rowena. It'll be in the post.
