Depends what their idea of "accordingly" is. There may be some diners who will be satisfied with just a main course, and others who will rush to get to the sweet food, which seems to defeat the purpose of eating slowly and chewing a lot. Nice article (one of many) about the joys of mastication: http://www.foodandwine.com/articles/an-overachieving-underchewer Reply #22. Jan 11 12, 6:18 PM |

I lost the thread there for a minute. Started some mild exercise on MLK day. I have to go slow, as I'm prone to muscle spasms right now. I think that as I move more, I'll be able to do more. So basically, on days with no car trips and errands, I'm walking or sweeping for 15 minutes. If I cramp up, a pause and then finish. My sub goal is to be able to walk my dog in my neighborhood. I usually get all enthused and over exercise, then I'm sore and use that for an excuse to stop. This little carousel of defeat has got to stop for me to reach my goal. Almost a week now, so far so good. I'l report any pounds lost after my doctor visit Feb. 7. Keep it up. Reply #23. Jan 21 12, 12:57 PM |

Good for you Know all about cramping up (seems that's the way of things until we're in a routine) We're behind you, so don't give up I haven't tried a pair on yet, but I think I'll soon be able to wiggle into my jeans again I'm sick of feeling like crap because I don't exercise I'm trying to do at least ten minutes on the bike for five days each week (that doesn't include han weights or stretches) Reply #24.
