I cut out the sodas and Kool-Aid from my diet about six months ago and I'm down 30 pounds. But I still treat myself once a week or so, and I have a LOT of favorites: Barq's, Pibb Xtra (way better than Dr. Pepper), Mountain Dew Live Wire when I can find it (orange soda with caffeine!), Mello Yello (better than Mountain Dew), pineapple soda (any brand). 7-11 had a mango-pineapple soda that was a marvel, but I only found it ONCE. The 7-11 grape isn't too shabby, either, and I hate grape soda. If nothing else is available and I don't want the caffeine, I'll get Fanta or Crush orange soda. A discount Cuban grocery store in Miami was carrying a tangerine soda that was interesting, but I have moved and the store has since been bought out by a chain, so I'm guessing it isn't available anymore. One outfit used to have a black cherry soda I really liked, but I don't know the brand and I haven't found a good black cherry soda in a long time.
