What's the most impressive thing you've ever seen that was staged for a film? I'm not talking about feats in the real world that happened to be filmed, like the moon landings--I mean something that was scripted and set up for a movie.
Mine is from "Fitzcarraldo," when the natives haul that steamboat up the hill, inch by inch.

I like the death scene with Spock, but the scene for 2001 Space Odyssey has to be the most poignant sci-fi scene. However, I think Sophie's Choice where she had to choose between her two children to save from the death camp is very poignant. I also think one of the most heartbreaking is the death scene in Camille (1933)- No love doesn't conquer all, but her life did change her lover's for the best. Reply #15. May 24 15, 2:41 PM |
