Wow, the Packers REALLY blew it against the Seahawks! I'll be rooting for either of the East teams against Seattle in the Super Bowl.

Brady also got lucky facing a banged up Legion of Boom. Sherman and Thomas got hurt in the Packers game and Kam got hurt in practice last week. When Jeremy Lane went out we had to put in a cornerback who'd gotten torched all year. Two of his touchdowns came on throws at his covers. Without those injuries the Seahawks probably would have won.

Stop putting Brady as Best ever. Montana won 4 without losing one. Also Seahawk fans can't whine about injuries. Every team has them and its part of the game. If the shoe was on the other foot and the Pats had the injuries and lost Seahawk fans would be crowing about thier win.

Uh-oh, here come the excuses. First of all, if you can name me one football player who is not hurt, then I will show you a football player who doesn't play. Secondly, if the Packers had not choked that game away and were able to do something simple like handle an onside kick, then Seattle wouldn't even get to smell the Super Bowl. Green Bay dominated Seattle from pillar to post for most of that game. Then they choked themselves out. Finally, how about the refs? Surely they deserve some blame, right? I'm sure you can find one thing to blame them for.

As far as judging QBs as best of all time by how many rings they have goes? I don't do it. Trent Dilfer has as many rings as Peyton. Does that mean he is as good as Peyton? Of course not. Bradshaw has four rings. Is he automatically considered the best of all time because of that? Of course not. Does Marino get thrown in the trash because he has none? I sure hope not.

In Brady's case, his career stats back up my pick as #2 all-time in addition to his four rings. Dan Marino, despite having NO rings, is my #4 pick because of his outstanding stats.

Before the Packers game our whole secondary was healthy. I don't know how you can suggest that 4 injuries to the secondary in 2 weeks didn't have a huge affect on the game. Great teams expose weaknesses, and that's exactly what the Patriots did. First they went after Sherman, then after Lane got injured they went right at his rookie replacement. These are facts, not excuses.

Lol I didn't say anything about the refs, they called a great game. No idea where that came from. Did you even watch the game?

Obviously sarcasm goes way over your head.

Injuries are a part of football. All teams have them. Champions overcome them. When Green bay came oh so close to beating Seattle at their place with a broken QB, maybe that proved Seattle did not have a great team this time around.

Plus, this time around, the injuries did not lose the game for Seattle. I would ask if you saw the game because apparently you missed how the game was decided. That was not Seattle's defense on the field at the time. Or are you alluding to maybe them blanking New England with a healthy secondary? Just face the facts that you did not have the better team on Sunday.

Hypothetical question Atlas. If Seattle had won, would you be praising how gutsy their secondary was?

Just a note. The Giants won the 1991 Super Bowl with their back up QB as their starter was hurt. Again every team has injuries. As Anton said Champs play through them. ( oh by the way SSeattle did not lose because of injuries they lost because they did not hand it off to the Beast)

We weren't quite as good as last year, but still had a great team. We made the Super Bowl twice- no easy task in this era. As far as the Packers game, there are no explanations. The defense was elite like we expected, but for 55 minutes our offense was the worst I've seen. Everyone knew it was a miracle that we came back, even in Seattle. Would GB have won with a healthy Rodgers? You bet.

Seattle wouldn't have shut out NE without the injuries, but I don't think they would have given up 4 touchdowns either. Maybe 2 or 3. Neither team looked better to me. It came down to one yard and a gamble by a rookie to secure the victory. He jumped the pass, and for that he's a hero.

No I wouldn't be praising the secondary; they gave up four touchdowns. However I would have given them slack for fighting through the injuries. Three of them are critical and require off-season surgery. These guys are such warriors; hopefully they'll recover by September.

I can't believe they didn't give it to Beast Mode either. Worst case scenario is he gets stuffed and you have to throw on third down. If you're going to throw, let Russell work his magic and roll him out of the box. Not a quick slant, ugh.

There is one team who can put a lot of the blame on the injury bug. That is Arizona. Even with the backup QB in, they looked good. They probably hold on and take the division and Seattle would go to either Dallas or Carolina. But, when they had to play with a third string QB?

The Chiefs beat both Seattle and New England during the regular season, but lost to Oakland and Tennessee. Oh, the pain, the pain!

Tharold Simon = Ryan Lindley. Injuries don't play a factor? Pft.

They didn't in the Super Bowl. From what I saw in that game was Seattle with a great chance to win. Nothing their defense did or did not do caused them to lose. Keep grasping at straws.

I'm looking at the big picture and you're looking at one play, like everyone else in the country. They wouldn't have been in that situation with a healthy secondary. That's all I'm saying.

You don't know that. Like every fan in this world, you are trying to analyze something based on a "what if". You claim that if Seattle's defense was 100% healthy, then they would not have given up four touchdowns, right? Is it possible that they might have given up more? Is it possible that the one pick Brady had early on would not have even been picked due to players being in different spots? Maybe Seattle beats the Holy Hell out of New England with a healthy defense. Maybe the opposite happens. But, I am not doing a "what if" right now. I am discussing this game by what I saw. I wish you would too. It would make this a lot easier.

Lol, you're kidding me. 99.9% of the NFL will tell you that a healthy LOB would have performed better than Tharold Simon and a banged up one. But I wouldn't expect you to listen to them either.

Still doesn't change the fact that your argument is 100% speculation.
