Thank you for that, jolana! The article brought tears to my eyes, and is well worth reading. What a wonderful man... and a *true* hero, who never talked about it, never boasted, "look at me". He did what needed to be done to save the lives of hundreds of children, and never told a soul... not even his wife... for half a century. His good fortune in living a long life was well-deserved!
