Subject: Help with Fun Fill-It

I am writing the next quiz in my series of great political speeches and I have encountered an issue that is preventing my quiz from being submitted. In the speech there is are references to both "last year" and "last week". Understandably the system sees these as time-dependent but they are just direct quotations from the speech and don't make the quiz time-dependent.

Can anyone advise what I should do to get around this issue?

The only thing I can think of is putting just 'year' and 'week' in brackets with 'last' outside to see if that works.

Thanks. That seems to have worked... up to a point. It's now saying that I have the incorrect number of questions! Still, I'm making progress. I'll get there.

Thanks, that's good to know.

In the end, I closed the edit screen down, re-opened it and lo and behold the error had gone so that's one for the knowledge bank

From memory, I think that the error about the incorrect number of questions will appear in New Editor, but will not show in Old Editor

Sounds right to me pollucci. That error popped up for me in the new editor, so I switched to the old editor and the quiz was submitted just fine.

I'm glad someone else mentioned it because I've just done a 'Dune'-themed Fun Full-It quiz and I worried I hadn't put enough blanks in it because I got the error message. Switched to the old editor, it went through just fine.

I had to make a last minute change to a Fun Fill-It quiz and un-submit it, and when I tried to resubmit I got the 'not enough questions' error, so I went to the old editor and couldn't submit it there because it had 'I believe that my quiz is aa'. I can't pick either option.

Kankurette, what is the category? Not one of my four, so I just get a message saying I don't have permission to edit. You might get faster help by contacting an editor in the appropriate category directly.

It's in Movies, and I've had a look and can't figure it out myself, so we likely need someone with more technical knowledge.

Sorry, should have said, it's a Movies quiz.

The one thing I've found which has sometimes worked for me is to remove the tick from the box saying 'allow one at a time'. Or, if it's not ticked, then ticking it.

Yes, I know this sounds odd, but it's helped me bypass the blockage in the past.

Thanks, Rossian - I ticked it and it worked. It's been submitted now.

That's good. Just don't ask me to explain why it works.
