Sorry for the double post! It seems to be the same issue as Rossian mentioned in #69. Reply #81. Apr 09 24, 12:52 PM |

Further to trident's post, I'm really hoping that there is a notable Manuel Chorizo lurking somewhere in history. If not then a novel called "The Chorizo Killers". Reply #86. Apr 10 24, 2:23 AM |

Ah, chorizo is one of my favourite things! Though since I live in a Portuguese neighbourhood, it's chouriço here. Reply #87. Apr 10 24, 3:45 AM |

My husband would approve of anything to do with chorizo :D! On a more serious note, I would like once again to thank Terry, Wes and Trident (and anyone else involved) for setting up this great new challenge. Thanks to their invaluable work and dedication, I was able to reach 1,000 approved single questions way earlier than I expected. This was one of my main FT goals for 2024 - the other being getting 400 quizzes online (my 350th went online yesterday). 2024 will mark my 10th year as a FT member, and these personal records will be a wonderful way to celebrate. Congratulations! What a huge achievement! In terms of the Bingo game, I am just thrilled that is has resonated so well with authors. While the Grill was very successful in its aims, we wanted to take into account the authors' concerns when it came to doing something too similar again. We put a lot of thought into trying to make a game that could be long-lasting and fun, without (for the most part) locking anyone into a category they weren't comfortable writing in. Reply #89. Well done on reaching your target LadyN. I'm a long way off that, but have written a lot more than usual thanks to the Bingo game. I didn't care much for the first set I had, so only did one line, but the new one is proving more to my taste. The Grill was a good game but the time pressure meant it was tiring. This game is one to dip into when I feel like it. Reply #90. Apr 10 24, 7:27 AM |

HI all - hoping someone can help. I submitted a question (with the word horseradish) and although the question has been accepted I have not been given a green word in my bingo card. I did click through on the link when writing the question, and it went orange for a while and then went back to normal. thanks in advance for any help - this one was to complete a line. Reply #91. From your Author Central page, on the left toolbar, check 'My Submissions'. You might've received a correction note. Reply #92. Apr 15 24, 9:05 AM |

Does it still contain the key word in the question or correct answer? https://www.funtrivia.com/questionpost_me3.cfm In any case you can send a correction on it for fixes from the link there. Reply #94. Apr 15 24, 10:18 AM |

Hi Yes the word is the correct answer. So are you saying I should resubmit and ask the editor to give me the credit or re-do the whole question -thanks Reply #95. Apr 15 24, 11:51 AM |

I'm more inclined to complete the easy or medium daily challenge regarding writing one or two questions, now that this game exists. In the past, it would just remain incomplete, or I'd swap it out. Reply #96. Apr 15 24, 2:54 PM |

Re: Hi Yes the word is the correct answer. So are you saying I should resubmit and ask the editor to give me the credit or re-do the whole question -thanks I would suggest sending it back so we can troubleshoot. We can't manually award anything but we can try and figure out where the problem is. What category is it in, and what's the word? Reply #97. Apr 15 24, 3:15 PM |

Luckycharm... (a) did you submit the question through the link on your bingo card or did you simply go through the single questions page - the latter will not give you credit (b) is the word in the answer exactly as it is on your bingo card i.e. horseradish rather than horse radish Reply #98. Thanks Kyle and others for your ideas. Just to confirm I did submit through the link and the word horseradish was the correct answer. I'll just try again and see if it works rather than lose the question. Fingers crossed!! Reply #99. Apr 17 24, 5:12 AM |
