The Challenge:
| | If you're a creative person - and every quiz author is - you will find that your work is seeing some great feedback and some less well-meaning comments as well. But, we'll go with the words of one of the world's foremost game designers here:
"If everyone likes your game but no one loves it, it will fail." (Mark Rosewater, long-term lead designer of Magic: the Gathering).
And this is true for quizzes as well. If you have that quiz that everyone thinks is average to good, people will play it - but few will remember it. If, on the other hand, just a few dozen of your players consider it excellent, you've probably given them something to make the day worth it.
And that's what this badge is about - being excellent. Making your quizzes loved. Don't worry if it's not universally loved - you can always care to those player with the next quiz. And the next.
You'll need it anyway, because if you want this badge, you'll need to accumulate a thousand "Excellent" ratings. Whether you do that with one quiz or a hundred doesn't matter. It's just about putting a smile on a thousand faces.
And don't worry about the naysayers - those poors might hurt your stars, but they can't harm you here.
