The Challenge:
| | Besides the non-competitive, just for fun quizzes that you can play any time, FunTrivia.com also offers multiple competitive hourly and daily games. Playing these games is not only a way to score points for your total, but also the primary way to earn badges - the rewards for the more difficult, higher effort challenges. Badges are just like the badgelets you have probably already earned a few of, but they come with a greater bonus: They increase your overall player level by 1 immediately.
To keep these games interesting, players are grouped into divisions based on their level and experience. As a new player, you will not immediately face a level 130 opponent who has been playing over 80% of the quizzes on the site, but other new members. Prove them you're smarter!
Now for a start, our Piece of Cake game is one of the easiest hourly offerings. Every hour (starting on the half hour, i.e. :30), the game will randomly select one of the categories on the site - Music, Animals, General or one of the many others and select 10 easy questions. Your challenge is to play this game three times, in three categories, and get at least 8 of the questions right. Don't worry about your time yet - speed comes with practice! |
