Arquette, Courtney Cox
Birmingham. Courteney was born on 15 June 1964 in Birmingham, Alabama, USA. She is the baby of the family for parents Richard Snr and Courteney. Courteney has three older siblings, sisters Virginia and Dottie, and brother Richard Jnr, as well as nine half-brothers and half-sisters.
Mount Vernon College for Women. Before attending college, Courteney went to Mountain Brook High School, where she was a cheerleader, tennis player and swimmer. At the Mount Vernon College for Women, Courteney studied architecture and interior design. She did not finish her degree, however, as she dropped out after one year to pursue modelling.
Lucy. 'Dirt' is a show about a tabloid editor and her photographer who are trying to find success in celebrity journalism. In the show, Courteney plays workaholic Lucy Spiller, a woman who runs the magazine DirtNow. The show recieved world wide attention after fellow 'Friends' star Jennifer Aniston guest starred and shared an on screen kiss with Courteney.

David Arquette. Courteney and David married on June 12th 1999. The couple met while filming the first movie of the 'Scream' trilogy and would later go on to complete the final two films together. On June 13, 2004, the couple welcomed daughter Coco Riley Arquette to the world.
Bass. Courteney was named after her mother, a housewife. She was given the middle name of Bass as it was her mother's maiden name. Courteney's parents divorced in 1974 and her mother went on to marry New York businessman, Hunter Copeland, while her father started the company Cox Pools.

Modelling. Courteney signed a contract with the Ford Modelling Agency. She was on the covers of many well-known teen magazines. It was because of modelling, that she decided to give acting a try. To earn some extra money while going to acting classes, she was fortunate enough to land work for Maybelline Cosmetics.
Daisy the Cow. The 2006 animated comedy 'Barnyard' was created by Steve Oedekerk and Nickelodeon Movies. The film tells the story of Otis (voiced by Kevin James) and his challenge when he is forced into being a leader when the farmer leaves the barnyard animals alone. Courteney voiced Daisy the Cow in the film. Her character is a new cow to the farm and quickly catches the eye of Otis.
Dancing in the Dark. Courteney was cast by Brian De Palma and paid $350 to appear in the 1984 video. Courtney's dancing in this video was the inspiration for the long running gag of the 'Carlton Dance' in 1990 show 'The Fresh Prince of Bel Air'.
Melissa Robinson. The 1994 film 'Ace Ventura: Pet Detective' tells the story of Ace (played by Jim Carrey). Ace is a pet detective who is called in when a football team's mascot (a dolphin) is stolen just before the Superbowl. In the film, Courteney plays Melissa Robinson, owner of the Miami Dolphins grills. Throughout the movie she helps Ace to try and solve the case, while enjoying a few tender moments with the pet detective.
