Susan Abbott-Jamieson had been one of Ashley's favorite anthropology teachers at the University.

Come Early Morning. "Come Early Morning" (2006) kicked off the festivities at the 2006 Sundance Film Festival. In the film written and directed by Joey Lauren Adams (you may remember her from "Chasing Amy"), Ashley plays a middle aged woman who is searching for the right man to break her out of her current routine of getting drunk and sleeping with strangers she meets in a bar. "Bug" is another 2006 film of Ashley's, but it did not appear at the festival. Her role in "De-Lovely" (2004) got her nominated for a Golden Globe and she was in the documentary "Tracking the Monster" (2005), which was aired by VH1 News.
