Li, Jet
Li Lian Jie. Jet Li, or "Li Lian Jie" was born in Beijing, China, 26 April 1963.
2. Jet Li had two daughters with his first wife, Qiuyan Huang, who he divorced in 1990; and then married actress Nina Li Chi.
America. In the sixth installment of this well-known series, "Once Upon a Time in China and America", Wong Fei-Hung (Jet Li) travels to America to visit the martial arts school that his pupil, Sol (Kwok-Pong Chan) has opened.
Richard M. Nixon. The prize that Jet Li won after finishing first in the championship, was a trip to Washington D.C., where he had the opportunity to meet President Richard M. Nixon.

Beijing. Jet Li was born in Beijing. His real name is Li Lian Jie (Mandarin) or Li Nin Kit (Cantonese). He was born on 26th April 1963. He is the youngest in his family and has 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

Shaolin Temple. Jet made his first movie in 1979. He played a son of one of the slave workers who escaped to the Shaolin Temple. He learned Kung Fu, and set out to kill the traitor who killed his father. This was a movie based on a true story from Shaolin folklore, but was highly fictionalized.
Danny the Dog. There are some crude fight scenes in "Danny the Dog". Danny was the name of the character played by Jet Li. This movie might be a turning point for this actor, since he displayed some acting skills apart from his martial arts skills.
