Patty Greene. Sarah played the part of Patty Greene in this 1982-83 comedy. All Patty ever wanted was to be popular, but having glasses and braces didn't help. The series was cancelled after one season but has been repeated on Nickelodeon.
Lovely. In addition to Lovely, Parker also endorses the fragrances Covet (launched 2007), and Dawn, Endless and Twilight (all released in 2009, as part of the Lovely collection). Sarah Jessica Parker also has her own fashion line called Bitten, which is made by the clothing chain Steve & Barry's. (Curious is one of Britney Spears' fragrances, Fancy is Jessica Simpson's, and White Diamonds belongs to Elizabeth Taylor).
Matthew Broderick. Sarah Jessica Parker married Matthew Broderick in 1997, in a civil ceremony at a synagogue in Manhattan. Their son, James Wilke Broderick, was born on October 28, 2002 (he was named after Matthew's father, James Broderick). Parker continued to film "Sex and the City" while she was pregnant, but since her character was not pregnant, she was often hidden behind doors, large purses, or simply costumed in baggy, oversized dresses. Parker and Broderick also have twin daughters, born through surrogacy on June 22, 2009. Their daughters are named Marion and Tabitha.

Carrie Bradshaw. Sarah Jessica Parker played the lead role of Carrie Bradshaw in Darren Starr's "Sex and the City" for the show's whole six-season run. While she certainly had a career prior to "SATC", the show propelled her from just 'actress' to star status. Parker reprised the role of Carrie on the big screen in "Sex and the City: The Movie" (2008) and "Sex and the City 2" (2010).
Square Pegs. "Square Pegs" aired for one season on CBS in 1982-83. Sarah Jessica Parker and Amy Linker played two awkward teens living their daily lives in high school and the social world. Other notable actors who appeared on the show include Tracy Nelson and Jami Gertz. The show didn't last long, but Parker's performances were well-received by critics and helped her get work throughout the 1980s.
Annie. Parker (and a few of her siblings) first appeared on stage in "The Sound of Music". She then joined the cast of "Annie" in 1977, first playing the role of July, before taking over the title role in 1979. She played lovable orphan for a year on Broadway. Much later in her career, post-"Sex and the City", Parker returned to the stage, acting in several shows including "How to Succeed in Business without Really Trying" and "Once Upon a Mattress".
New York. Sarah Jessica Parker was born on March 25, 1965 in Nelsonville, Ohio, but her family moved to Dobbs Ferry, NY (outside of New York City) when she was a young girl. They also lived on Roosevelt Island, NY and then in Manhattan. When their children were teenagers, her parents moved the family to Englewood, New Jersey.
