The Mask Of Zorro. Zorro (Anthony Hopkins) has spent years fighting the ruthless Governor Montero (Stuart Wilson). However, when Montero discovered his true identity, he imprisoned him, and abducted his daughter. Twenty years later, when Montero returns to California, Zorro escapes from prison and starts to train a new Zorro (Antonio Banderas). Now, not only must Montero be stopped from his plans to get rich at the expense of the local people, but Elena must be reunited with her real father.
Marina. Sinbad has to find the Book of Peace, which he is supposed to have stolen. If he cannot find this precious book, his best friend, Prince Proteus, will die. Marina is the betrothed of Prince Proteus, and she stows away on the ship. She is determined to make sure that Sinbad completes his mission safely, and that her betrothed is rescued. Brad Pitt provided the voice of Sinbad and Michelle Pfeiffer that of Eris, the goddess who framed Sinbad for the theft of the book.
Flight attendant. Tom Hanks is Viktor Navorski, a man who made his home in an airport terminal. He had travelled from an Eastern European country just as war was breaking out. The tiny country suddenly ceased to exist, therefore his passport and documents became invalid and he was unable to proceed with his travels or to return to his now non-existant homeland. He became friendly with the airport staff and fell in love with Amelia, one of the flight attendants.
Chloe. Chloe lived with her boyfriend, JC (Sean Pertwee), who was a surfer. When his friends showed up in the English town in which Chloe and JC were living, JC began to think more closely about his life. He realized that it was not the kind of life he would like to be living. He was getting older, so had to decide whether he would rather stay with Chloe and run a coffee shop for surfers, or whether he would rather go off around the world without her.
Marylin Rexroth. Marylin married Rex Rexroth with a view to divorcing him and winning a handsome settlement. Miles Massey (George Clooney) is Rex's lawyer and he skilfully arranges the divorce so that she receives nothing. Marylin next finds an actor, who is willing to pretend to be an oil tycoon, and she hopes that Massey will be convinced that she is not just a gold-digger. However, she finally marries the lawyer, deciding that the best way to get even with him is to marry him and run off with his money. Billy Bob Thornton and Geoffrey Rush also starred in this movie.
Velma Kelly. Velma Kelly (Zeta-Jones) met Roxie Hart (Renee Zellweger) in prison. Each had murdered someone, and both were attaining infamy in the Chicago press for their crimes. Richard Gere was the lawyer who helped the girls, and encouraged them to enjoy their notoriety. The two did not become friends, but rivals, each wanting the lawyer's attentions and finding new ways to draw the attention of the press back to themselves. Queen Latifah and Lucy Liu also starred in this movie.
Virginia Baker. Virginia Baker worked for an insurance company. She had the job of tracking down Robert MacDougal, an art thief (Sean Connery). In order to catch him, she joined him at his beautiful Scottish castle to train for a daring theft, but neither of them really trusted the other. After they have stolen a valuable mask, the pair head for the far east, and a bigger crime - the theft of around eight billion dollars. This was to be possible as the millenium bug allowed a brief window of opportunity for a computer based fraud. Ving Rhames also starred in this film.
Gwen Harrison. Gwen (Zeta-Jones) and Eddie (John Cusack) were film stars, adored by the American public as much for their off-screen marriage as for their on-screen chemistry. When their marriage broke up, they tried to convince their fans that they still got on really well, whereas the truth was that they hated each other. Julia Roberts also starred n this film, as Gwen's sister Kathleen.
