Booker T and Goldust, William Regal and Lance Storm, and The Dudley Boyz. Christian and Chris Jericho faced off against Booker T and Goldust, William Regal and Lance Storm, and The Dudley Boyz in a Tag Team Elimination Match for the titles. First to be eliminated were The Dudley Boyz, followed by William Regal and Lance Storm. Only Booker T and Goldust remained. Booker won the belts for his team when he hit Chris Jericho with the "Scissors Kick" and pinned him for the win. After the match, he and Goldust were interviewed by Coach, and Booker said he knew that he and Goldust were going to win.
A Train . Edge faced off against A-Train in a match that stemmed from A-Train's beating of Rey Mysterio and Edge. With Mysterio out of action for a while because of an injured knee, Edge was left with the problem of putting the massive A-Train in his place. The two men began fighting, but A-Train lost when he was disqualified for using a steel chair on Edge. After the match, Edge gave A-Train a taste of his own medicine, by hitting him over and over again with a steel chair.
Kane. Big bad Batista, accompanied by Ric Flair, faced off against the Big Red Machine, Kane. Unfortunately for Kane, Batista won when he hit him with the "Sit Down Powerbomb."

Kurt Angle. The Big Show, accompanied by Paul Heyman, faced off against the Olympic hero, Kurt Angle. It looked like David and Goliath fighting, with Goliath winning! Angle gave Show his all, but it seemed as though Angle was about to lose.
A Train . Just as it looked like Angle was about to have his dream come true, the A-Train ran amok. A-Train ran into the ring and ambushed Angle, much to Heyman's surprise. It looked like it was all over for Angle!
Brock Lesnar. After A-Train interfered and attacked Kurt Angle, The Big Show hit him with a "Chokeslam." Then, just when it looked like Angle was going to be pinned, Brock Lesnar ran down the ramp and into the ring, and he hit Show with the "F5." Then Angle crawled over and laid his hand on top of Show. The referee counted to three and the match was over, with Angle as the new WWE Heavyweight Champion.

Steel Cage. The second part of the Two Out of Three Falls Match was a Steel Cage Match. Right before the cage came down around the ring, Triple H threw in weapons to use against Shawn Michaels. During the match, Michaels gave his all to Hunter, but just then Ric Flair, who was banished from ringside, ran back down. After he assaulted the referees that were guarding the door of the cage, he opened it and climbed in. It seemed that Shawn Michaels was in a Handicap Match when Flair started assaulting him. However, Shawn Michaels defeated the odds and won the second part of the match. The score was now one to one.
