    What is a "push"?Basic Blackjack

      To tie hands with the dealer.. The dealer will usually tap the table beside your bet on a push. You don't win, and you don't lose. It's a tie.

    What does it mean to "bust"?Basic Blackjack

      Your card count goes over 21.. If you bust you go over 21, and the hand is over.

    What is a "George"?Basic Blackjack

      A big tipper. If you get called a George in a casino, consider it a compliment! You are a great tipper, so dealers will love dealing to you. You do not have to be a big money player to be considered a George. You just have to tip well!

    You have chosen to double down. How many more cards may you receive?Basic Blackjack

      1. When you double down, you are betting that the next card will make your hand high enough to beat the dealer. You may only draw one card on a double down.

    You have a $25 bet placed and want to double down. The table limit is $25 to $500. What is the maxium bet you can place for the double down?Basic Blackjack

      $25. You may only double down for the amount of your original bet or less. You may only double down for $25 on an original bet of $25.

    How many 10 value cards are there in a six deck shoe?Basic Blackjack

      96. Each deck has 4 - 10's, 4 - J's, 4 - K's, and 4 - Q's. Therefore each deck has 16 face cards. 6 decks x 16 face cards = 96 cards with a value of 10.

    You have a $10 bet placed. The dealer shows an ace and asks for insurance. What is the MOST insurance you can take?Basic Blackjack

      $5. You may only bet 1/2 of your original bet (or less) on the insurance line.

    What does insurance pay?Basic Blackjack

      2 to 1. You cannot make a profit on insurance, you can only protect your bet if the dealer has a blackjack.

      21. Some casinos actually have a game where 6 cards is an automatic win, no matter what the points are, 21 or below.
