As Told by Ginger
Carl. In almost every episode Ginger says, "Carl."
Robert-Joseph. You only find out when his mother is talking to him. She calls him by his real name, Robert-Joseph.
Foutley. Bishop is Dodie's last name, Gripling is Courtney's, and Killgallen would be Miranda's.
Miranda. Miranda sticks to Courtney like she is glued to her.
Killgallen. In one episode Miranda calls her dad and says, "Officer Killgallen please."
Police Officer. In one episode Miranda calls her father to report a crime that she set up.
Will. Darren will often talk to or about Will.
Lucky Jr. High. This is mentioned many times and you can see the name on the school when you watch the show.
Female. A couple times Carl says, "You mean she did not get stolen," referring to Monster.
French. This is Episode 9: "The Right Stuff."
Dodie and Macy. Dodie and Macy have always stuck by Ginger through thick and thin.

Darren. In the episode "Dare I, Darren?," Miranda encourages Ginger and Darren's relationship so she can have a chance with the cute boy, Ian.
Courtney. In one episode, Ginger takes Courtney's place as "Most Popular Person." Courtney had eaten lobster and her face was bloated and red.
Robert. Carl made up the name Hoodsey, and everybody calls him this. Joseph is his middle name.
Naked mole rats. In the end of the episode, Carl decides that naked mole rats aren't bad after all, but "kinda cute."
Lois. Lois Foutley is a nurse that cares for Ginger and Carl as best as she can. Ever since she divorced her husband, she's been doing her best to support their small family.
Psychologists. Macy has to schedule an appointment with her own parents to talk to them.
Blake. Blake is obsessed with being friends with Carl and Hoodsey.
April Twenty -Second. When Ginger, Macie and Dodie confront Bobby and Bobbie about Macie's birthday, they start to take a notice in her, but treat her like a four year old as Ginger puts it. Melissa "Mipsey" Mipson's birthday is also April Twenty-Second.
Courtney and Macie. Courtney Gripling and Macie Lightfoot were the two best students in their French class, so they were sent to the class at the high school. Courtney was thrilled, Macie however was not so ecstatic to be taking lessons with cool high school students.
Car Companion Bob. In the second episode, "Carl and Maude", Lois says she never drives anywhere at night without it. Yet, we never see Car Companion Bob again.
Heathered Hills. In "Ginger's Solo", Ginger joins the school band and goes to Heathered Hills to see Sasha.
Ginger lives in Sheltered Shrubs; Courtney lives in Protected Pines; Jonas (Ginger's father) lives in Brittle Branches: All fictional towns in Connecticut, U.S.A.
She doesn't play a musical instrument.. Courtney doesn't play a musical instrument, but her best friend, Miranda, plays the clarinet. Macie also plays the clarinet. Both Miranda and Macie used to be in the school band, but Macie left.
Prescott. We learn his name in "TGIF" when Claire Gripling says it. Usually, we never even hear from Courtney's and Blake's father.
She solves relationship problems. Dr. Fondfeelings is a TV therapist. In a couple of episodes, Ginger takes her advice which usually doesn't work.
Noelle. Carl called Noelle Sussman "living, breathing wallpaper" in "And She Was Gone" as he tried to find the best student to use vanishing powder on. Unfortunately, by the time Noelle "vanished", Carl discovered she was anything but wallpaper.
soccer. Ian is not only one of the most popular guys at Lucky Junior High, but he is also rich and the star of the soccer team. In the episode, "The 'A' Ticket" Ian uses Ginger to help him get an A in science so he can stay on the soccer team.
Joann Bishop. In the episode, "About Face", Dave Bishop shows Dodie her mother's yearbook, where she was voted "Missed Popularity". Joann tried to fit in with the popular girls (Courtney, Miranda, Mipsy, etc.) as she taught home economics. Needless to say, they didn't accept her.
He's a plumber and he met Lois when her house had mold.. He was first seen in "TGIF" as the plumber. Then, in "Ms. Foutley's Boys" he returns and Lois is dating him but the relationship doesn't last long.
Monster. Monster ran away from home but Carl still keeps his doghouse as a fort. He still believes that Monster will come back one day.
Robert. Hoodsey is Robert's nickname given to him by Carl. Blake is Carl's enemy who still wants to be his friend. Darren is Ginger's best friend.
