 Martin, Ann
Bernese mountain dog. The Brewer-Thomases receive their Bernese mountain dog from Kristy's new friend, Shannon, and name the dog 'Shannon' after her in "Kristy and the Snobs".
Mimi. Mimi dies in "Claudia and the Sad Good-Bye". Claudia often felt that her grandmother was the only one in her immediate family that understood her. One of their favorite pastimes together was tea drinking.
She didn't tell them that she was going to get one.. "Mary Anne's Makeover"-Mary Anne had intended her makeover to be a surprise for her friends but instead they misinterpreted it mean that she was trying to exclude them from her life.
Riverbend Hall. She went to boarding school after people started calling her 'Spaz Girl' at school. Mallory goes to Riverbend Hall in "The All-New Mallory Pike", where she feels she belongs with other artistically inclined teenagers.
Ross. "Abby's Un-Valentine"-Abby absolutely loathes Valentine's Day and everything connected to it. Her musically-inclined twin sister Anna, on the other hand, loves the holiday. Ross decides that he has more in common with Anna and takes her to the dance instead.
Kristy and Claudia. Alan went to a dance once with Kristy (in "Claudia and the Phantom Phone Calls") and is now dating Claudia (beginning in "Claudia Gets Her Guy").

Jackie Rodowsky. "Kristy and the Walking Disaster"-Jackie Rodowsky is always breaking, spilling, wrecking, or messing up things. He is also a member of Kristy's baseball team, the Krushers.
Ann M. Martin. Ann M. Martin has written over 150 Baby-sitter Club books she has also written others.
"Kristy's Great Idea". Book number 1 is about Kristy who has the idea of having the babysitter club. She invited Stacy, Claudia and Mary Anne to join her.
T. Ann M. Martin has written over 150 books altogether including the mystery series and the "Super Specials" and much much more!

Flora. On a dull day when Ruby decides to make a board game with a friend, Flora has a longing to be alone. She goes up into the attic, looks around, and finds a long-lost box of letters, photos, and other things from long ago.
Scary Mary. All the kids in Camden Falls are scared of Mary and believes she is a witch.
It's short for "in a minute.". Min is always busy, so her favorite phrase is "in a minute." When the girls were young, they nicknamed her "Min" and it stuck.
the Row Houses. The Row Houses were built in the 1800s and were owned by the richest people in Camden Falls at the time.
Ruby. It turned out that Lydia had stolen several things, and she was forced to return what she could and pay for what she couldn't.
Robby. Robby has Down's Syndrome, a type of mental disorder, and Ruby confirms this in the beginning of the book by asking Olivia, "What's the disease that Robby has again?"
Needle & Thread. Min co-owns Needle & Thread with Olivia's grandmother. Needle & Thread has sewing classes, patterns, and sewing supplies for sale.
She was worried about what would happen to her and Ruby if something more serious happened.. Flora worried that Min was her last relative, and she didn't know what would happen to her and Ruby if Min had a life-threatening accident.
She loved to sew.. Flora had a passion for sewing, and she helped teach younger kids' sewing classes, make sample outfits, and several other things.
Robby's family. Robby and his father took Flora, Ruby, and Min to the hospital and let them stay overnight, even though Robby was deathly afraid of hospitals.
