      Dead End. 'Dead End' was first published in March 1995. The cover art by David Jarvis has a girl with brown hair staring in shock out the rearview window of a car.

    Julie and her friends, Hillary, Taylor, Vincent and Sandy all hated Al. He abused them, he blackmailed them and he got them in trouble. Al was bad news. But when Al is murdered, they all swear they are innocent, even though they all had good reasons to kill him. When one of Julie's friends confesses to murdering Al, the group is shocked and conflicted. What should they do?... Keep the secret and protect their friend, or protect themselves and turn the killer in before their friend decides to kill them too? "Fear Street" Plots 1

      The Confession. 'The Confession' was first published in May 1996. The cover art on the Bill Schmidt edition shows a girl in rollerblading gear kneeling over the dead body of a young man in a plaid shirt. 'The Confession' was one of two books (the other was 'The Boy Next Door') that came with a contest entry form to write your own plot line for a story used in one of R.L. Stines next books, 'The Best Friend 2', which was published in October 1997. The contest deadline was August 1996 and according to the entry form, the only compensation the winning entry would get was 5 copies of 'The Best Friend 2', autographed by R.L. Stine.

    Bobby Newkirk was a self proclaimed stud. He could have his pick of any girl in school, and usually did. But now he's gone too far. Bobby decides to date the Wade Twins, the most beautiful girls in school, at the same time. At first it's all just fun and games for Bobby, but soon Bobby feels his life may be in danger. He hears from several sources that the twins are bad news and that he should not upset them but Bobby hopes the twins can share him without too much jealousy. However, if the girls never learned to share and are both extremely jealous, to what lengths will they go so that they're both satisfied?"Fear Street" Plots 1

      Double Date. 'Double Date' was published in April 1994 and the Bill Schmidt edition of the cover art shows a young man holding a young lady while sitting on a bench with another young lady watching them in the background. One of the characters in the book has a butterfly tattoo and when 'Double Date' first hit the shelves, the book came with a sheet of temporary butterfly tattoos for the young reader to enjoy.

    When Ariel, Doug, Shannon and their new friend Red get stranded on a mountain during a blizzard, the group have no choice but to take shelter with a strange couple in their cozy mountain home. At first the group is happy to be out of the cold and snow but when their hosts begin acting less than hospitable, they fear they may have walked into a dire situation. The group realize they have to escape when the hosts are overheard plotting a murder, but with no car, no phone and no means of getting to town, how will they survive another night?"Fear Street" Plots 1

      Ski Weekend. 'Ski Weekend' was first published in January 1991. This book had two different covers. The majority of the 'Fear Street' series books, including the descriptions I'm giving of them, had covers drawn by Bill Schmidt. The Bill Schmidt edition of 'Ski Weekend' has two guys and two girls in a cozy mountain cabin surrounded by their ski equipment, staring out the window at a masked man walking through the snow.
