Cambridge. She says that Jade should go to bereavement counselling.

Waters. Mr Waters says that Jade should come home with them, but she refuses to believe Vicky is dead.

She is hit by a car. They have a fight and Vicky runs into the road without looking.

Steve. Jade's mum said she might marry Steve, MAYBE! She got a letter from Steve's wife saying she's very upset. Jade's mum knew Steve was married but he said it wasn't going very well so he might have a divorce.

About 30. He was also called in for the inquest. I don't think it was his fault Vicky got knocked down because he was going real slow. Vicky didn't look when she was on the road and he pressed his brakes as soon as he saw her.

London. They went shopping. Vicky can get anything she wants, she doesn't even have to pay!
Sam. Vicky's nickname for Sam is 'fatboy Sam'. Mean huh? Jade used to call Sam that too before, but then she stopped. Sam is kind of funny.

Sugar. Imagine dipping your finger in a bowl of sugar and then taking it out and licking it! Disgusting! Jade saw Vicky's mother doing it too and then Jade started doing it!
An 'inquest' letter. Jade didn't want to go but Mrs. Cambridge says she has no choice. Jade gets all muddled up and can't really remember the accident.
Vicky. Poor Jade! (Vicky's best friend) And oh yes! Poor Vicky! Vicky just went in the middle of the road; a car was passing by, it hit the brakes, there was a scream and then silence.
Photos of Vicky. Mrs Wainwright helped Jade out about Vicky. She too had lost people, but not a friend, her children. She had the cutest little girl with curly hair called Jessica who died, but like Jade can still see Vicky, she saw her sitting in her room playing with her Barbie Dolls.
Ryan. Vicky was a bit annoyed that she died so young. Ryan helped Jade out when the photographers and reporters pestered her about Vicky's death. He said to her "If they give you any trouble, just tell me and I'll sort them out".
Mr Lorrimer. Jade says that all the girls think he's a dreamboat when she goes back to school after Vicky's death. Jade is glad she misses assembly because she doesn't like it.
Marshmallow. Vicky calls Sam Fat-boy, and when she talks about Sam and Madeleine she says "Why do you hang around with these PUDDING people?" Vicky can be very mean, but it is because she is very lonely as Jade is the only one who can see her and Jade isn't giving her enough attention.
The Friday Fun Run. It was in return for joing Jade's club, the drama club. Jade can't run at all, so she scribbled both their names off the two lists. This was before Vicky's accident.
A stoat. She tried to be a sly stoat, lurking in the background but Miss Gilmore pushed her forward, saying, "Don't be shy!" Vicky was a cute squirrel and Fat-Boy Sam was chosen as Toad.
2. There was Vicky Waters, Jade's best friend, and Vicky-two, who was always second best to Vicky. Jade tried to make friends with Vicky-two, Jenny, Madeleine and Sam but Vicky won't let her.
Cuts off all her hair. She wants to see how she looks with short hair. Jade says it looks like a sheep has been grazing on her head. When Vicky looks for her reflection in the shop mirror, she can't see it, saying "Uh oh! Ghosts don't have reflections!"
The Nee-naw game. The Nee-naw game was when they pretended to be ambulances. Jade remembers this when Vicky is rushed to hospital.
Yes. When Vicky and Jade hug at the end of the story after Vicky saves Jade from getting knocked down, then Vicky saw her wings.
Wednesday. Jade loves acting and wants to be an actress, that's why she wants to join the drama club so much.

The Fun Run Friday Club. Jade wants to be an actress when she grows up so she wants to join the drama club. She wants Vicky to join too but Vicky doesn't, so at the end of the discussion Vicky says she will join if Jade joins The Fun Run Friday Club even though she knows Jade hates running.
Waters. Vicky's parents are Mrs and Mr Waters so Vicky is Vicky Waters.

JANE MARSHALL, VICKY'S BEST FRIEND, TOO DISTRAUGHT TO TALK.. When Jade reads the caption under the picture it says 'JANE' instead 'JADE' then Vicky snorts and says (as a ghost) "Jane, trust them to get it wrong, it's a wonder they got 'my' name right!"
£10. Jade needed the money for some school trip but she didn't care, she wanted to go to London with Vicky.
