Number 7 World Trade Center. September 11, 2001 ended with a world in shock. As well as the thousands of dead, injured and missing, the sense of security and innocence of what had started as a gorgeous day, was suddenly gone. To the firefighters, police, E.M.S. workers and the victims... Ordinary heroes in extraordinary circumstances, or extraordinary heroes in ordinary circumstances, the terrorists decided that...

Who has the authority to order commercial aircraft to be intercepted by military jets?September 11

No one, it is an automatic response which is always in effect and adhered to. Except for one day.

How many of the 19 hijackers' names appeared on the published passenger lists of the 4 aircraft?September 11

      0. No published lists of the flight manifests have been released to prove who was on which plane.

How did the FBI distinguish between "regular," "innocent" Muslim passengers and Muslim hijackers on those flights? September 11

The FBI has never explained this.. And the media does not ask about it.

What was the passport the FBI claimed it found some blocks from the World Trade Center, "a few" days after the disaster, and which it claimed belonged to one of the hijackers?September 11

When asked, the FBI has only responded that that information is "part of the investigation" and cannot be released "yet".. Ziad Jarrahi was named as leader of flight 93 (Pennsylvania crash), actually.

What information was learned from the 8 nearly-indestructible Black Boxes from the 3 crash centers? September 11

It is not clear how many were recovered reasonably intact, but no data (except voice transcripts from flight 93) obtained has been released for "security" reasons. ABC News Reports: The Black Box is "almost indestructible. It is designed to withstand heat of up to 2,000 degrees Fahrenheit for one hour, salt water for at least 30 days, immersion in a variety of liquids such as jet fuel and lubricants, and an impact of 3,400 G's". What security reasons?

Who signed an Executive Order (No. 01-261) declaring a "state of emergency" (illegally naming the National Guard as the arm of enforcement) provisionally until the end of June of 2003 on September 7th of 2001?September 11

Jeb Bush, Governor of Florida. On Sept 11 Jeb Bush signed another order (No. 01-262) declaring a state of emergency equivalent to martial law in perpetuity until it is rescinded, if ever.

Flight 77 hit the Pentagon at 9:39 am, some 40 minutes after it was known positively to be "off course" and headed back toward the restricted airspace of Washington D. C., which is protected at all times as Standard Operating Procedure by fighters from Andrews Air Force Base. How far from the Pentagon is Andrews AFB 'as the jet flies'?September 11

10 minutes. Actually, 10 if they stopped for coffee first. Within 3 or 4 minutes after the crash, jets from Andrews were on the scene patrolling the skies overhead.

The second WTC tower was struck 20 minutes after the first. Planes from McGuire Air Force Base in New Jersey could have supposedly intercepted the second plane, needing only 7 minutes to reach lower Manhatten. What reason did Major General Richard A. Mentemeyer, Commander of the 305th Air Mobility Wing, give for the fatal delay in following this normal procedure?September 11

No reason was given.. The implication, and the rumor, is that all intercepts were ordered to 'stand down' that day. Not every base is on standby alert, but consider: Andrews AFB is about 11 miles from D.C., McGuire AFB is 18 miles from Trenton, NJ, Langley AFB is 3 miles north of Hampton, VA

Much of the WTC steel (about 180,000 tons) was sold as scrap. Do you know where the steel went?September 11

India and China. It was sold even though it is properly evidence in a crime of the highest magnitude, the perpetrators of which has never been established. Perhaps Rudy Giuliani knows under whose authority this was done, besides his own.

Which building, damaged but still standing, stood between the collapsed towers and WTC 7, which was 47 stories tall and collapsed mysteriously long after the towers?September 11

Building 6. There was no jet fuel inside WTC7 and 6 was between it and the towers and it was not reported to be on fire at all until 4:10pm, 7 hours after the attacks, yet it collapsed a little after 5pm. But check out what was stored inside WTC7.

Steel melts at 1538 degrees Celsius (2800 F). If a jet fuel fire could reach this temperature within a highrise structure such as the WTC towers, it would consume itself in a very few minutes. The first tower to be hit collapsed after 104 minutes, although flames had been reduced only to a smudgy smoke after the first 20 minutes. How long before the 2nd tower collapsed after it was hit (at an oblique angle, spilling much of its fuel outside as a fireball in the air)?September 11

56 minutes. Another thing to remember is that all of the supporting steel columns all around the outside and in the center would have had to melt at nearly the same time for the building to come straight down as both of them did, so the fuel would have had to somehow spread itself everywhere evenly, and burn longer and hotter than was possible to accomplish this.

An "FBI supervisor said in a pre-Sept. 11 conversation with headquarters that he wanted to prevent suspicious student pilot Zacarias Moussaoui from flying a plane into the World Trade Center, a congressional investigator testified Tuesday." - Washington (AP) 9/26/02 Where was this supervisor based?September 11

Minneapolis, MN. He said this in frustration at his superiors' lack of support. Only the U.S. higher echelon of intelligence and command seems to have been unworried by all the warnings they had been getting from around the world --- contrary to the official 'we didn't have a clue' line that was fed to the public.

Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (as of Oct. 1, 2001), Richard Myers stated September 13th in a Congressional hearing that no planes were scrambled for the first 95 minutes after it was known that planes were deviating from their flight paths, in contravention to all standard procedure previous to that day. How many times in the year prior to September 11, 2001 had fighter planes been scrambled in response to a straying aircraft?September 11

      67. Vice President Cheney did not disagree with this statement when he appeared on "Meet The Press", but the story changed on September 14 to 'we scrambled them at 8:56. If so, the planes went at less than 1/3 top speed, else they would have intercepted at least the second NY plane. (And even 8:56 is 24 minutes late getting the planes up by the regs. The 462, by the way, is about how many scrambles took place after the fact, in the year following 9/11.

What document was "sitting on President Bush's desk" one day prior to 9/11?September 11

A plan to invade Afghanistan in October, 2001, just as was done.. "In many respects, the directive...outlined essentially the same war plan that the White House, the CIA and the Pentagon have put into action after the Sept. 11 attacks. The administration was most likely able to respond so quickly to the attacks because it simply had to pull the plans `off the shelf'...." May 16, 2002 NBC News. The other stuff: who knows?

All aircraft were grounded in a total ban on non-military flight across the United States right after the attacks, remember? But do you know that one --- and only one --- aircraft was allowed to fly during that ban? Who was on that plane?September 11

11 members of the bin Laden family depart the U. S. for overseas. Bush Sr. did supposedly fly out, but his plane was diverted to Milwaukee when the air ban began. (Time Magazine,9/24/01). Ashcroft was in the last plane allowed to be in the air on 9/11. George Clooney? Don't think so. The bin Laden family are allowed to fly out of the U.S. by special order of the President.

Which person, devoutly dedicated to his belief system, unaccountably wore the uniform of his sworn enemy while appearing before a world-wide audience?September 11

Osama bin Laden appears on video exhorting his followers to jihad against the U.S. while wearing an oh-so-fashionable-with-the-Mujahadeen United States Army jacket. Okay, it's only a bit odd, perhaps --- what would a guy with a rumored $250 million know about 'Image' or 'PR'? And maybe it was a gift and has sentimental value from back in the good old days when he was working hand-and-glove with the CIA building those caves and camps?

What is the 'Condoleezza Rice'?September 11

an oil tanker. Condoleezza Rice is the President's National Security Adviser. Chevron honored her, as a former member of its board of directors, by naming its largest fleet tanker the Condoleezza Rice.

Quite soon after the attacks we got our first look at the hijackers in action as Atta and Abdul Aziz Al-Omari are shown rushing through a Maine airport to catch their flight so that they won't miss their Logan flight in Boston so they can hit the WTC. Every airport, of course, has cameras from the parking lots to the boarding gates. How many of the dozens and dozens of other shots that must exist of the other hijackers have been shown to the public?September 11

      0. Perhaps the LIFE spread did happen, but in a parallel world. Several of the passport pictures may be of living people whose identities were appropriated by the hijackers. Interesting that those two we did see came within 5 minutes of missing the plane to Boston, after planning everything out for years. Some 'mastermind', that Atta. Too much wine and women the night before?

Estimates of the death toll at the WTC the day after the attack ranged to upwards of 30,000 (50,000 people worked there, and at that time of the morning there should have been about 40,000 inside, including visitors). The final official toll is listed as what?September 11

2,792. Final as of February 28, 2003. Answer 13,485 is about the expected number. 3,188 is the total for all the attacks. When the WTC was bombed in 1993, killing 6 and injuring about 1000 people, it took 5 hours to evacuate all the people down the narrow stairways. Shouldn't there have been more people than this, even if only above the fire lines? Did so many more escape than in '93 in so little time, or was everyone miraculously late for work? Where was everybody on 9/11? Got an explanation? Obviously, no deep secret or coverup about this --- it's just puzzling.

Most people don't know that (at least) one member of the present administration is psychic, having predicted a terrorist attack on the United States 2 minutes before the first WTC crash and then again --- specifying the Pentagon --- about 1 minute before that crash. Who had such amazing prescience that day?September 11

Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld. Admiral Poindexter (Ret.) was President Reagan's National Security Adviser, convicted of: lying to Congress, defrauding the government, conspiracy and destroying evidence in the Iran Contra scandal. Now he heads an agency whose purpose is to spy on all American communication. Edgar Cayce was a genuine psychic who died in 1945. Rumsfeld spoke from the Pentagon, blissfully unaware that in 40+ minutes flight 77 would hit the spot farthest away from the command center where he was. He also knew somehow that "There cannot be any survivors; it would just be beyond comprehension." Just in case, a wrecking ball was used to collapse the unstable walls.

The Pentagon was on fire. Classified documents were scattered all over the grounds. What was the response?September 11

Local firefighters sprayed the jet-fuel-based fire with water while the FBI picked up and confiscated all the Classified information.. Water sprayed on a fire of this type guarantees it will not go out, but will instead spread as widely as possible. It did burn for 60 hours as the firefighters were forced time and again to abandon the effort due to 'terror alerts' where nothing, of course, happened. How does the FBI get the authority to touch, let alone keep, Classified military documents? You'll have to ask them.
