 Breyer Horses
1950. Breyer Animal Creations was started in 1950.
Western Horse. The Western Horse was the first Breyer and was made for the Mastercrafter Clock Company. The models were presented on mantle clocks.
6. In the 1960's, there were 4 decorator colors made. The 2 other colors were made after 1990.

Connoisseurs. The Connoisseur series of models can only be had if you are a member/subscriber of JAH AND only if you are one of 350 drawn. After all of that, then you are allowed to buy it. Connoisseurs are VERY sought after and usually always sell second hand for double or more what was paid for them.
Lexington, Kentucky. Breyerfest has taken place at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky since 1990. Breyer hosts this 3-day model horse festival and horse fair. It consists of a swap meet, meeting of real horses that have become models, workshops, seminars, equestrian demonstrations, activities, trade fair, an artisans' gallery, and much more!
t. There have been several models painted in the woodgrain color. Some of these were mounted on lamp bases.

LSQ. LSQ (Live Show Quality) is what is used to describe models that are in top condition and can be live shown. I would have said "live" in the question instead of table top judged, but it might have given the answer away for those of you who wouldn't know right away.
f. Breyer has never made mechanical horses. They did make some music box models that had mechanical parts for the musical box part of it, but that's it. They hadn't made horses that mechanically move.
Seabiscuit. Breyer, using the John Henry & Man O War molds, made models of Seabiscuit & War Admiral.

Customizing. Customizing is a huge part of the model horse hobby. Models that have been customized are known as a CM (Customized Model).

Man O' War, Ruffian, Affirmed, Seabuscuit, Seattle Slew, War Adrimal, and Secretariat. Man O' War, Ruffian, Affirmed, Seattle Slew, War Adrimal Seabuscuit, and Secretariat are so far the only races horses to have both a traditional and classic model of them.
Smarty Jones. Birdstone is the horse that stopped Smarty Jones' bid for the Triple Crown in the Belmont. Funny Cide and Real Quiet won the Derby, but have not had a model made after them.
Red Rum. Red Rum was a famous steeplechase horse. He won the Grand National twice. His model was a limited U.K. release in 2006, and limited to only 500 models.
Yes. They were released in 2 classic size sets. Set 1 had Whirlaway, Citation, and Count Fleet. Set 2 had Secretariat, Seattle Slew, and Affirmed. And then War Adrimal was released with a model of Seabuscuit, theses were classic size and released by Wal-Mart. War Adrimal, Secretariat, Seattle Slew, and Affirmed also have traditional models made of them.
Native Dancer. Native Dancer has a stablemate mold. Arts and Letter came in second in the 1969 Derby. Northern Dancer won the 1964 Derby, and Nashua came in second in the 1955 Derby.

Classic and Stablemate. Yes Swaps has both a stablemate the second to smallest mold type and a classic which is the middle size mold models.
Kelso. Kelso had his model run from 1975 to 1990.

Godolphin Arabian. It was Sham the Godolphin Arabian based on Margerite Henry's book "King of the Wind." Lady Roxanna was the mare that he was bred to that produced, Laith, Cade, and Regulus. Which a classic set of them were made called "King of the Wind". This set included Sham, Lady Roxanna, and Laith.

Donated 10 dollars to equine medical research. Barbaro sold for $45.00 US dollars, and 10 dollars of that was donated to the New Bolten Center. They are doing the same thing with the second issue of the model. Barbaro broke down at the start of the Preakness. Efforts were made to save him, but he developed laminitis in all of his feet. Laminitis is a painful condition of tissue swelling in the hoof. It is usually caused by uneven weight distribution.
