Tank. Tank was played by Robb Sapp. Sapp has also appeared in "Johnny Guitar" Off-Broadway as Turkey and in the ensemble of the Broadway musical "Wicked".
Mike. Mike sings "I Could Write Books" as he reflects on Steve's erratic behavior. Mike was played by Enrico Rodriguez, who has also appeared in "Fame" Off-Broadway and in "Rent" on Broadway. My favorite lyric in "Zanna, Don't!" is from this song:
"I could write books
'bout all the things you didn't do,
And then write twice as much
about how much I still love you."
Makes everyone heterosexual. After Zanna's spell, everyone is heterosexual and Steve abd Kate are the King and Queen of the Prom. It seems that Zanna himself is the only person who retains his original sexual orientation.
The chess tournament. Mike wins the chess tournament and all his friends go wild! In the celebration, Kate and Steve kiss. This hurts not only Roberta and Mike, but Kate and Steve as well.

Steve and Kate. Steve and Kate realize their mutual attraction in the reprise song of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell". Kate and Steve try to deny their attraction, but ultimately fail.
Academics. Kate had cited her Grade Point Average and SAT scores as far more important than a romantic relationship, but she finally began to date Roberta, a waitress. Kate has her eye on a medical degree.
Mike and Steve. In Zanna's world, it is the football players who are the geeks and the chess players who act as the macho jocks. Steve is the lonely quarterback who benefits from dating a chess whiz, Mike.
Jai Rodriguez. Jai also played Angel Schunard in the rock opera "Rent". He is best known for his culture expertise on "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy". He has also played Carmen Ghia in "The Producers".
Heartsville High School. The main characters are students at Heartsville High School, although the time period is not specified. Heartsville is obviously not a real place.
