Gerritsen, Tess
Catherine Cordell. When we meet Jane Rizzoli, we discover that she is the only female police officer on the Boston PD team. The doctor is soon pursued by the murderer, who has chosen her as his victim.
The Apprentice. Agent Dean is from the FBI, with a cool manner that could give others the false impression that he has no emotions. This is not true as he eventually manages to win over even the stubborn Jane Rizzoli.

Kitchen. In the dining room, the place settings had been laid out as though ready for a meal for four. One of those plates was covered with a napkin, under which was the victim's left hand. The majority of the body was in the bedroom while the head was in the kitchen. As you can see, this particular book is not for the faint hearted.
