Milo Minderbinder's character represents the corruption of money when, after bombing his own squadron for the Germans, he explains to everyone back in America that he did it for a good price and that since they are part of his "syndicate" they will all benefit as well. After saying this, everyone in America seems to agree and Milo is not punished.
