Tex gets shot. Tex gets shot because he was leaving and Kelly thought he was a cop. So, Kelly pulled a gun out and Tex jumped to get it out of Kelly's hands.
Connie. Lem married Connie and moved out because their parents didn't like it. Later on he had a son named Lem Jr.
Jaime. Tex loved and liked Jaime but thought she would never feel the same about him. He was wrong.
Mason. Mason and Tex live together because Pop was out of town and had been gone for months on end.
White. The candles must be pure white. This comes up in the story when the hardware store makes a mistake and orders Grenville yellow candles. When Jamie goes to pick them up, he gets very upset over what Grenville will think.
Terrace View. At Terrace View, Dr. McDevitt helps Jamie in his treatment. When Jamie has night terrors, extreme anxiety, and intense fear of the twilight, McDevitt realizes how much work Jamie will need.
A Vampire. At first, Grenville's "condition" is not revealed; it is only hinted. However, after he awakens from the coffin that Jamie opened and bites Jamie on the neck, the reader becomes fully aware of the situation.
Kellen . Kellen, or Kell, is about twenty years older than Jamie. He and Jamie travel the world by ocean. Throughout their travels, they encounter many dangerous and humorous adventures.
She dies.. Early in the book, the reader is told that Jamie's mom gets sick and dies in the hospital. Jamie ends up being taken to an orphanage that is run by overzealous nuns.

Red. Red was the man that gave M&M the LSD. His name was Red because of his bright red hair.
spiders. After M&M takes LSD he goes crazy thinking everything is spiders.
Baby Freak. He was called Baby Freak because he was younger then all the other people in the Hippie House.
at the grocery store. Bryon did ask Charlie if he could work in the bar but Charlie refused and Cathy worked at the Hospital in the basement.
Cathy. Bryon told Cathy he loved her and he actually meant it when saying it to Cathy.
Bryon always told girls he loved them but never meant it.
