Susan Norton . Susan was reading Ben's book when they first met.

Sow. Charles Tanner, a local farmer, owned a sow named Jerusalem. He was always warning the children to 'keep out of Jerusalem's wood lot.'
Maine. Jerusalem's Lot, like Castle Rock, is a fictional town in Maine.
Ralphie Glick. Ralphie Glick, Danny's younger brother, disappeared without a trace while they were walking by Taggert stream on the way to Mark Petrie's house.

Richard Straker and Kurt Barlow. The full names of the men were Richard Throckett Straker and Kurt Barlow.

Mike Ryerson. Matt Burke ran into Mike Ryerson at Del's and he seemed so ill that Matt took him home with him in hopes of caring for him.
A class ring. Mike Ryerson dropped his class ring. Susan Norton found it later and accepted it as evidence that Matt Burke's story could be real.
Jimmy Cody. Jimmy Cody was bitten by Marjorie Glick when she raised from the dead at the mortuary. He disinfected the wound and gave himself a tetanus shot. He never became a vampire. Jimmy was later killed when he fell onto knives in the basement of Eva Miller's boarding house.
Constable . He was not a sheriff, a policeman, or an inspector. As he said in his own words, he was a 'plain old constable'.
