Marianne. Elinor is the sensible one. Marianne and Mrs. Dashwood show their emotions more openly.
Elinor, Marianne, Margaret. In my opinion, the Margaret in the movie was more interesting than the book character.

Marianne. Marianne is certainly emotional, whereas the rest are quite logical and prudent. Marianne, however, changes significantly by the end of the novel from being emotional to being more prudent.
Elinor. Elinor is the prudent type, whereas the rest are all emotional.
