Enjoying the view. As per usual, he is totally oblivious to all danger, and is safe in the knowledge that Rincewind will save him...Poor man!
Galder Weatherwax. And he still managed to look impressive and live up to his many titles.
A tree. Which he stopped talking to fairly quickly as he realised he could not be talking to a tree unless he was crazy, and he was sure that he was not crazy. So he proceded to ignore it.
Greyhald Spold. He is noticibly only deaf when he wants to be. This means he can be very annoying and ask for a question to be repeated, or when you don't want him to hear something he suddenly does. Just to annoy you.

At a party. A good party that is expected to go downhill at about midnight. Coincidentally at about the same time as all the party members think Death is going to remove his mask.
Slowly. 'As if it wasn't sure it was worth the effort.' The beginning of the book.
Stars. The end of the book.
She had stayed a virgin so she could be with the Moon Goddess.. "I could have been up there with the Moon Goddess by now, drinking mead out of a silver bowl. Eight years of staying home on Saturday nights right down the drain!"
An acorn.. The short conversation that follows eventually led to a tree religion. "Its tenet of faith was this: a tree that was a good tree, and led a clean, decent and upstanding life, could be assured of a future life after death. If it was very good indeed it would eventually be reincarnated as five thousand rolls of lavatory paper."

Traveller's Digestives. Rincewind and Twoflower eventually find the horses and breakfast on dried horse jerky.
The Luggage. The Luggage would follow its owner anywhere. Although Twoflower is not dead, he is later found in Death's house.
Bridge. Actually, the game is never identified as bridge, but all the clues point to that game.
Twoflower: "In your language it's called a thing you put across a river, I think."
Rincewind: "Aqueduct? Fishing Line? Weir? Dam?"
Twoflower: "Yes, possibly."
Bridgeplaying friends of mine claim that "Dam" would be a better name for the game since they use that word so often.
Trymon. Wert and Panter are among the wizards that are trapped by Trymon when he steals the Octavo. Galder Weatherwax is the head of Trymon's own order (Order of the Silver Star) who disappears when he mistakenly summons The Luggage instead of Rincewind.
Asphyxiation. He was the oldest wizard on the Disc and determined to keep it that way. He built an impregnable box of curlyfern pine (which grows to a great age) protected by amulets, withing the eightfold Octogram of Withholding, surrounded by rare and rather smelly oils in complicated patterns. But he forgot about the necessity of airholes in any enterprise of this kind.
Shards from the tooth of Old Grandad. Old Grandad is a sleeping troll big as a mountain; they camp in his mouth. They escape when the Luggage breaks through his teeth which are made of diamond. Cohen uses those shards to make his dentures after learning about the concept from Twoflower. The Pyramid of Tsort is the source of the information on the power to be gained by saying all the Octavo spells.
Inside The Luggage. "The Octavo dropped into the centre of the shouting mass. There was a snap. A decisive snap, the sort of snap made by a lid that doesn't intend to be opening in a hurry."
A tree. Rincewind finds himself hanging upside down from a tree. After falling to the ground, he kicks the nearest tree, which then speaks to him.
Death. The wizards summoned Death, who was at a party prior to the summoning.
The basic unit of magical strength. The book describes a Thaum as being "The basic unit of magical strength. It has been universally established as the amount of magic needed to create one small white pigeon or three normal sized billiard balls."
Greyhald Spold. The correct answer is Greyhald Spold. Although Cohen is described as being old, he is not a wizard.
Bite. The legend states that "When the red star lights the sky Rincewind the wizard will come looking for onions. Do not bite him. It is very important that you help him stay alive."
Centuries. "He's very old and big and mean. We haven't seen him about for years," said Kwartz.
"Centuries," corrected Beryl.
Ate him. The Luggage's lid snapped shut and ate him. Weems then witnessed the Luggage brushing its tongue along its teeth.
He had no teeth. Cohen the Barbarian simply had no teeth. He later gets some teeth made from diamonds.
Red. The giant star was mentioned several times in the book, and was red.
Home. Twoflower heads home on a ship, leaving the luggage with Rincewind.
