Emma Roberts. Claire is played by Emma Roberts. Emma's character, Claire, is a young teenage girl. Claire's parents died when she was young and she lives with her grandparents. She is very smart, and kind of shy, except when she is with her best friend Hailey.

When Cecilia told her father that she thought that Aquamarine was a mermaid and that she lived in the water tower, her father confiscated the keys to the car. Cecilia is played by Arielle Kebbel, who also starred in 'John Tucker Must Die'.
