Susan Sarandon and Goldie Hawn. Susan plays Lavinia and Goldie plays Suzette. For her performance in this movie, Goldie was nominated for a Golden Globe award, for Best Performance by an Actress in a motion picture. Goldie can be seen in other movies like "Overboard" (1987) and "The First Wives Club" (1996). Susan can be seen in other movies like "Stepmom"(1998) and "Thelma and Louise" (1991). Kate Hudson is Goldie's daughter but she is not in this movie. Eva, Susan's daughter, is in this movie but she is not in one of the two lead roles. Eva won an award for this movie from the Young Artist Awards for "Best Performance by a Supporting Young Actress".

Department of Motor Vehicles. In this scene, Ginger is taking her driver's license test. Lavinia and Suzette are sitting in the DMV waiting for her and talking about the drabness of the walls in the DMV. Suzette looks right at Lavinia's clothes when she says she hates drab.

Rock Cock. The film crew actually messed this part up because they used polaroids which were not available during the late 60's early 70's when Lavinia and Suzette were groupies.
Jules. Jules is Hannah's boyfriend, who Lavinia has known since pre-school. They also went to prom together. Jules is played by Matthew Carey. Jake is played by Andre Ware. Harry is played by Geoffrey Rush. Raymond is played by Robin Thomas. These are all the men in the movie with a name.
Hannah. Hannah gives the speech for her class at the graduation. This is where we find out that Ginger is like her mother and is going for the band members.
