Steve Perry. I have no idea why the name of the lead singer of Journey is considered distracting, but Cooper made it work on Remer. He even followed up with a rendition of the first line from 'Oh Sherrie.'
Kenny . Given all the physical damage that Squeak suffers throughout the film, one has to assume that calling him 'Kenny' is a reference to the 'South Park' character of the same name, who dies in almost every episode.
