in a rented house. At the end, Peter was sick of his old office and wanted to get a fresh start. After the whole fiasco at the Downlow, Mrs. Arness would only work for Peter so he had a good start to his business. Howie also left to be Peter's assistant.
Peter's cellphone. After Mrs. Arness saw Charlene on the news for breaking out of jail, Charlene left the house so Arness couldn't get her arrested again. After Peter found out Charlene was innocent, he wanted to get in touch but he didn't know how. Sarah mentioned that she gave Charlene his cellphone and Peter freaked out for a second before he said "Good idea."
What was the name of the club that Charlene said a lot of people in her neighborhood hung out at? | Bringing Down the House

the Downlow. Charlene mentioned that the club was in a bad area of town and that a white man at this club was either "a cop, a corpse, or a crackhead." But Peter still decided to go there and pretended to be a gangster. He ended up getting a confession out of Widow by recording it on a tape without Widow suspecting.
her boyfriend. Charlene's boyfriend, Widow, tried to get Peter to drop the case with Charlene by holding a gun to him. Peter realized that Widow had to be involved or else he wouldn't have done that, so the two made plans to get Charlene free of charges.

Freakboy. When Howie first saw Charlene, he instantly fell for her. He acted stange around her and Charlene told him "Boy, you are some kind of freaky." Then, the name kind of stuck and she called him that for the rest of the movie. Howie, in turn, called Charlene "Cocoa goddess."
Glen . Obviously lonely after her divorce from Peter, Kate (played by one of my favorite actresses, Jean Smart) went on a weekend trip with Glen, a golf instructor. Kate also mentioned that Glen caddied for Peter when Glen was 14 years old. Peter was obviously a little upset about this, but his phone rang, interrupting their conversation. Kate walked away in a huff.
Mrs. Kline. Mrs. Kline, played by the talented Betty White, was the older woman who lived across the street from Peter. She was very racist and also happened to be the sister of Peter's boss. She always invited Peter's son, George, over to play bridge with her girlfriends on Wednesdays.
armed robbery. Charlene's boyfriend, Widow, set her up by dressing up in a wig and dress and leaving the clothes at the site where he robbed the bank. Charlene was arrested and thrown in jail for 4 years before she was broken out. She wanted Peter to help her prove her innocence.
chat room. Peter (played by the hilarious Steve Martin) was recently divorced from his wife, Kate, and he was very lonely. He went to a legal chat room and talked with Charlene, whom he set up a date with at his house. However, the picture he received of her was misleading and Peter was expecting a blonde.
