Buddy. In the last scene of the movie, it showed a helicopter guy and Jim Carrey having a conversation inside of the helicopter. The helicopter guy said to Jim, "You're going to make it, buddy." Jim, with a devilish look, said back to him, "You mean it...I'm your buddy"?
Heineken. There were a few instances where Heineken was mentioned. First, after they finished playing basketball, Chip offered to buy a Heineken for Steven. Next, they showed the two main characters drinking it after they returned from Medeival Times. Finally, Steven offered Chip a Heineken when Chip threatened to jump off of the satellite tower.
When Jim Carrey arrived to install Mathew Broderick's cable, he was shocked at how clean the floors were. He said, "The old McNair place...never thought they'd get the floors cleaned after what happened."

They had a lot of cats.. This took place in one of the first few opening scenes. "Ren and Stimpy" was a classic cartoon that aired in the early 1990s. It was about an oddly drawn cat and hound and featured very gross jokes.

Double Trouble. There was only a brief shot of the title of the show. They showed us the title, "Double Trouble", when they were looking back in time at what Sam and Stanton Sweet used to be like, when they were child stars.
Since "Double Trouble" doesn't actually exist, there is no information about the show itself.

Pepsi. At Medieval Times, Janine Garofalo was the waitress and she offered them refills on their Pepsis. Mathew Broderick's character was in disbelief that they had Pepsi, but not silverware back in those days.

Chip was fired from the cable company for stalking clients. Chip was previously fired from several cable companies and was using a variety of aliases. In fact, Chip Douglas was originally one of the boys on "My Three Sons".

He asked her to marry him. Robin was Steven's girlfriend who was not ready to make such a commitment. Robin was played by Leslie Mann, who later had a role in the Adam Sandler movie "Big Daddy".
Pay Chip $50 for free movie channels. Rick was Steven's cynical friend who was on to Chip. He discovered later on that Chip was a fraud. Rick was played by Jack Black, who later starred in films such as "Shallow Hal" and "School of Rock".

Steven moved into his own apartment in the beginning of the movie after being kicked out of his girlfriend's house. Chip tried way too hard to make friends with Steven and often went to bizarre extremes. Chip was played by Jim Carrey and Steven was played by Matthew Broderick, who previously starred in "Ferris Bueller's Day Off".
