He smells them. You learn this as Matrix is talking to one of the soldiers who was stationed at his house.

    Who played Matrix's daughter?Commando

Alyssa Milano. A very young Alyssa Milano plays Jenny Matrix.

What is the name of Arnold Schwarzenegger's character?Commando

John Matrix. Matrix lives out in the mountains, after retiring from the militairy.

What is the name of the airline that is supposed to fly Matrix to Val Verde?Commando

Western Airline. Matrix of course jumps out of the plane just after it has taken off, he lands in a pond and immediately gets to his feet and begins to run! He also appears to be bone dry a couple of shots later, although it can be very hot in California?

How much money did they offer to pay Bennett to do the job?Commando

$100,000. He was offered $100,000, but he said "he'd do it for nothing when he heard he could get his hands on Matrix!" Bennett was of course a very sound businessman?

What did President Valasquez claim that he had made Matrix?Commando

The hero of the revolution. The hero of the revolution, of course! It was lines like these that ensured Steven De Souza would always find work in Hollywood.

Does Chenny (Jenny) have a phone in her room?Commando

Yes. Yes she does, but who do you think she might phone from her mountain residence? Maybe her mother in East Germany?

What is the combination number that Matrix inputs to gain entry into his shed/secret gun rack, to get his gun?Commando

1, 3, ENTER. I added this question just to see how many die hard fans are out there, or consequently how lucky people are at guessing!

When General Kirby arrives, to inform Matrix that all of his old unit have been assassinated, the question of course is, 'Who did it?'. General Kirby gives four possible suspects...Commando

The Syrians, the South Americans, the Russians, or a terrorist group. When General Kirby says that 'the South Americans' could have been behind the assassinations, he makes the most ludicrous generalisation ever to be seen in modern film, GENIUS! It's like saying it could have been the Africans, or the Europeans, or the Asians! This is the funniest scene in the film, although I am sure that you all have your favourite scene.

Whilst reading an article about Boy George in Chenny's magazine, Matrix gets all nostalgic about his childhood in East Germany, and comments that the "Communists said that Rock and Roll was..." what?Commando

Subversive. I imagine that the communist die hards of East Germany may have had more to say about Boy George than that he was simply subversive! The 80's, of course, have just reached what use to be called East Germany!

What is the name of Chenny's (Jenny) music magazine, that you see Matrix reading over the kitchen table?Commando

Cream. Yes, John Matrix is not only a crack commando but also a caring, loving, father, who shows massive interest in Chenny's life! Ahhh! But where's her mother? Perhaps back in East Germany, awaiting a Visa. We never find out.

In the scene where Matrix is strolling down a mountain side, with a log/tree trunk sitting comfortably on one shoulder, and a chainsaw in his free hand, what make is the chainsaw?Commando

McCulloch. Like his guns Arnie also has to have the biggest mother' chainsaw!

According to the car salesman, why should you not buy leather? "It's hot, it's uncomfortable, it cracks ... "Commando

Nothing but trouble. A model for any budding car salesman!

Who is the second of Matrix's men to get assassinated?Commando

Forrestal. That Cooke is one heck of a Green Beret, it turns out that Matrix's crack unit must have been pretty rubbish, that is of course with the exception of Matrix!

Who plays the part of John Matrix's sadistic enemy, Bennett?Commando

Vernon Wells. Vernon Wells' character Bennett, is arguably the campiest movie baddy in the history of film; sadly Vernon had not featured in any other big action movies by 2002. Vernon also starred in "Weird Science" (1985) and "Mad Max: The Road Warrior".

In what year was "Commando" released at the cinema? (USA Release)Commando

1985. To give you an idea of what films were being made in 1985, here is a run down of the Oscars in that period; In 1985 "Out of Africa" by Sydney Pollack won the Oscar for Best Picture, and William Hurt won the Oscar for Best Actor for his role in "Kiss Of The Spider". In 1986 "Platoon" by Arnold Kopelson won the Oscar for Best Picture and Paul Newman won the Oscar for Best Actor for his role in "The Colour Of Money". How the Academy overlooked this film is beyond words, you would have at least thought that Vernon Wells would have got the Best Supporting Actor gong for his excellent portayal of the sadistic baddie Bennett! Somehow Wells was beaten (not even nominated) in this category by either Michael Caine for his role in "Hannah And Her Sisters" (1986) or Don Ameche for his role in "Cocoon" (1985). That's right "Cocoon" won an Oscar!

Who wrote both the "Commando" story and the "Commando" screenplay?Commando

Finally, let's end this thing with a question about Arnold Schwarzenegger. What state was he elected governor of in 2003?"Commando"--Schwarzenegger's Movie

California. I had to end with an easy one. There has been so much press about this one, I don't know if anyone could get it wrong. Mr. Schwarzenegger will be taking a very long hiatus from film making to pursue his political career.

What was Alyssa Milano's character's name on the 1980s sitcom "Who's the Boss"?"Commando"--Schwarzenegger's Movie

Which popular 80s film did Rae Dawn Chong star in during the 1980s?"Commando"--Schwarzenegger's Movie

Soul Man. All of the other films mentioned in this multiple choice starred Rae Dawn's one time husband C. Thomas Howell. They were married in 1989. Their marriage lasted less than two years. She was married once before in 1982 to Owen Baylis and has one son. She is the daughter of Tommy Chong and Maxine Sneed.

Dan Hedaya played the part of Arius in "Commando." What popular 80s sitcom did he play Nick Tortelli?"Commando"--Schwarzenegger's Movie

Cheers. He played Carla's husband. His role in "Commando" sure was a departure from the dimwitted Nick he played on "Cheers."
