Eragon
Eragon. He stabs the Shade in the heart. He does this while standing on Saphira's tail. While the Shade tries to strike Eragon, he loses sight of him. Taking this advantage, Eragon climbs onto Saphira's tail and strikes the shade from behind.
What is the Shade's name? | Eragon
|
Durza. He works for the King. His job is to capture Eragon and bring him to the king. You find this out when he attacks Arya.
When the Urgals are unable to capture Eragon, what does the Shade do to the leader? | Eragon
|
He kills him.. The Shade touches his face, and kills him with his magic. He then appoints another Urgal to be the captain.
Morzan. He is killed by Brom. He was one of the Forsworn. You find this out from Brom. He does not appear in the actual movie, even though he is mentioned throughout the scenes.
What is Brom's tomb made out of? | Eragon
|
Diamonds. When he gets killed, Saphira touches the tomb with her nose. Then, the tomb miraculously turns into diamonds.
Who is Eragon named for? | Eragon
|
The first elf to get a dragon. The elf Eragon accidentally found a dragon egg. He kept it and after a while it hatched. This made peace between the elves and the dragons.
What is Eragon's uncle's name? | Eragon
|
Garrow. He is killed by the Ra'zac. When Eragon finds out that the Ra'zac are in town, Saphira flies him to the Spine to protect him. When they return, Garrow is dead.
He found it hunting.. Arya teleported it to The Spine so Durza couldn't get it. It was Eragon's fate to find it. If he hadn't found it, there would be no story or adventure.
Nobody - she already had the name. See how the movie is different from the book? In the book Eragon names her, but in the movie, she already had that name. She says, "I am Saphira and you are my rider." Eragon says, "Rider?"
No. Brom came to his farm and told him to come with him. But, Eragon wouldn't go because he had to bury his uncle first. So, Brom took a piece of wood and lit it on fire and threw it next to Garrow's body. Then he took Eragon away.
Sloan. After he found the egg in the Spine, he brought it to Sloan, the butcher, hoping to trade it for some meat. Sloan wouldn't trade it for some food after Eragon told him he found it while hunting in the Spine.
Yes. When Eragon was talking to Saphira before their battle, Eragon said to her, "Then are we together, Saphira? As one!", while he was holding up his sword. And then Saphira was able to let a flame out; their bond was finally strong enough and she was old enough. Throughout most of the movie she wasn't old enough to sustain a flame. When Brom told Eragon that she wasn't old enough to sustain a flame, Saphira said in her mind, "Lucky for you!"
Brom. Eragon had told Brom that Roran and he trained with swords. So, Brom decided to see what Eragon had, but Brom defeated Eragon. Then Brom said, "I've seen the effects of your training." Brom meant that in a playful and sarcastic way. Eragon had made it seem like he was good at fighting, but to Brom he wasn't.
Roran. After Eragon found the egg and talked to Sloan, he went home. When Roran and Garrow saw that he didn't catch anything, Roran began to mock him, but in a playful way. Roran said, "All hail Eragon the mighty hunter returns. Yeah... with his invisible catch. What happened? Did you get scared when the deer growled?"
tomorrow. When Arya was heading back to Ellesmera, Eragon wanted to say good-bye to her, so he hopped on Saphira and rode off to catch up with her. Eragon asked, "When will I see you again?" Arya said, "Time moves quickly. Only yesterday you were a farm boy. Today you are a hero. Tomorrow may see us together again."
in a cave. After Eragon healed Sahpira with 'weis heill' (meaning 'be healed') he passed out. When he awoke Murtagh was with him in a cave with the Varden. Then, Saphira came to him and they went to track down Arya.
To protect and serve. At the beginning of the movie, Jeremy Irons' character, Brom, explained about the dragon riders before Galbatorix became king. One of the things he said was "to protect and serve was their mission".
He didn't want to join the king's army. Roran was Eragon's cousin. He told Eragon he was the right age to be recruited and that he did not want to serve the king. As a result he left Carvahall to hide from the king's army.
When the farm blew up, Eragon had nothing keeping him in Carvahall, seeing as Roran had left and his uncle had died. Therefore he was more easily swayed to leaving with Brom.
Red. Every rider had a sword made for them that matched the colour of their dragon. Brom stole the sword from a rider named Morzan. Morzan had a red dragon and therefore was given a red sword. Brom passed the sword down to Eragon because he thought, as Eragon was a rider, he should have a Dragon Rider's sword.
It died too. The Ra'zac were creeping up on Brom while Eragon was flying with Saphira. Eragon took Saphira down to help Brom, but she crash-landed and was injured. Brom gave Eragon a lecture about protecting his dragon and both he and Saphira explained to Eragon that if a rider died so would his dragon.
Dragons. After having his fortune told by the witch, Angela, Eragon was attacked by Wargals. To protect himself he shouted out "Brisingr!", which he had seen Brom whisper earlier to light the fire. This was when he discovered he had magic inside him. Brom explained to Eragon about magic and that it came from dragons and flowed through the riders that commanded them.
Killed by Durza. Eragon was fighting Durza, and Durza aimed a killing blow at Eragon. Brom jumped in front of Eragon and took the blow. He was injured severely and died later as a result. Saphira said that he should die with pride, as a dragon rider. He died while riding Saphira.
Ajihad. Ajihad was the leader of the Varden. He led and co-ordinated all the attacks against the Empire. Eragon met him when he and Murtagh arrived at the Varden's hideout. Arya and Brom were both members of the Varden.
Yes. For most of the film Saphira was too young to breathe fire. Brom explained this to Eragon. But at the end, just before the battle sequence, she was able to breathe fire and did so to show she was ready to fight alongside Eragon.
"Keep Holding On" - Avril Lavigne. Right at the end of the movie, when the end credits came on, "Keep Holding On" was played. The song was by Avril Lavigne.
The other possible choices were the credit music for other movies. "When You Believe" was from The Prince of Egypt, "What I've Done" was from "Transformers" and "Hero" was from Spiderman.
