David Mamet. Mamet wrote other great plays like "American Buffalo", "Speed The Plow", "Oleanna", and movies like "The Untouchables", "The Edge", and "Hoffa". He won the Pulitzer for Drama in 1984 for the stage version of "Glengarry Glen Ross". He adapted the play into a screenplay in 1992.
