The inside of the locker. This is another item that is different in the book. In the book the hangman is etched on the outside of the locker, and it's etched on the inside of the locker in the movie.

Leighton Meester . Leighton has only been in two movies and one TV show: "Tarzan", the TV show, "The Hangman's Curse", and "Jackalope".

Norman. At the end of the movie, Blake and Elisha look as if something is developing between them.
Ian Snyder. "Like Ian Snyder and his 'out to lunch bunch' " is a quote from the movie, regarding the goth group. According to Leonard Baynes, Ian gets picked on because he is different. Leonard, Blake and some of the girls pick on Ian. He turns out to be one of the main characters.
Rogers High. Rogers High School is the name of the school in the movie. The movie location is an actual school. Almost all of the scenes are shot in the school, as this is where all the action takes place. The mascot for the high school is a pirate.
Yes. The first scene shows Abel Frye walking through the school to the Forbidden Wing. There he hangs himself, hence the name "Hangman's Curse". Years later, many rumors go around about Abel killing another girl and then hanging himself, but his sister begs to differ. Abel's sister says the girl died of illness. It is true though that Abel hanged himself.
Elijah. Elijah asks Elisha,"So Lish, do you like this guy Blake or what?" And she responds, "I don't even know him." Elijah says, "That's not what I asked you." This scene occurs in the Forbidden Wing while Elijah and Elisha are putting a recorder in the room to listen for the "ghost" noises.
Yes. Yes they do. In the final scene, we see them all playing frisbee. Some people disagree about the "un-gothing", because they think Ian and Crystal are just trying to fit in.
A jock. Jimmy is a football jock and the third victim of the curse. Jimmy is intoxicated by the spiders, and he dies.
An annoying little jerk. This is an important part because it tells us all about Abel. While Elisha and her new friends are sitting at the lunch table one of the girls tells the story of Abel Frye.
