a prisoner on the run was shot and fell on her. He washed her off to find that none of the blood was hers. Camille, of course, fell in love with him for supposedly saving her life.

At the party, what was served that garnered applause for its European associations?'Indochine' II

Yule logs. A Yule log, like in France. Apparently these made it like a real Christmas.

Who got up first to dance when the record was put on at the party?'Indochine' II

Eliane and Camille. Others slowly joined them. The arrival of Jean-Baptiste sort of ruined their moment, though.

Jean-Baptiste called Eliane a vulture at the party and she slapped him. What was his response?'Indochine' II

slap her back. He certainly seemed to have no qualms about hitting a woman.

indifference. She said she would never understand the passions of French people's love stories.

After the Christmas party, where was Jean-Baptiste sent?'Indochine' II

Dragon Island. This was apparently the most remote post available. Eliane used her influence to make certain he was far away.

What was the monthly 'celebration' described by the other officer at Jean-Baptiste's new post?'Indochine' II

slave trade. People were recruited in the North and forced into slavery by way of their hunger and desperation. Then they'd be sold into slavery on the island.

rice. It was probably the only thing the church could afford to distribute in large quantities.

Save her. I want her to live.. Oh, how sweet! He cares for her!

What did Eliane say to the inspector when he explained that he could not release Camille from prison, despite knowing she was there?'Indochine' III

He's nothing but words. She also claimed this as her reason for never having slept with him. Women need more than words.

Where did Jean-Baptiste spend the night on his day of freedom?'Indochine' III

Eliane's childhood home. It was also his last night alive. Jean-Baptiste was shot while in the bed with Etienne, and it was made to look like a suicide.

Did Camille go with Eliane when released from prison?'Indochine' III

No. She had moved on in order to make it through her prison time, and could not go back to her old life.

Did Etienne meet Camille in the hotel?'Indochine' III

No. He thought the situation was ridiculous and identified Eliane as his mother.
