According to Kate's voice-over narrative, what was rule number one of their plot to bring down John? | John Tucker Must Die

Never underestimate your opponent. Kate mentioned this rule number one after they staged some pictures to make it look like John had genital herpes. He was initially embarrassed, but ended up receiving a "Teen Responsibility Award" for his courage for speaking out on the topic and encouraging other teens to practice safe sex. Instead of driving people away from John, he became even more well-liked and respected.
Incidentally, "Never underestimate your opponent" also became rule number two later in the movie. Kate made John dress in a woman's thong and then caused him to be paraded around in front of the whole basketball team and cheer squad. However, he managed to turn this into a positive too; he showed the basketball team that the thong underwear allowed him to move better on the court and then the whole team (and the male population of the school) started wearing thongs too.

And then he tells them that his father won't let him date during basketball season so they'll have to keep it a secret". When Kate asked Crying Waitress how she knew all this, the girl mumbled "I don't know" and ran off crying.
What reason did Kate give the other girls as to why John called them by pet names like 'baby' and 'sweetheart'? | John Tucker Must Die
|
So he wouldn't mix up their names. This took place during the scene when Kate, Beth, Heather and Carrie were all in detention together. John's three exes were arguing about him and Kate interrupted them to analyse the situation: "Let me guess. Does he always use pet names like 'baby' and 'sweetheart'? Yeah, it's not out of affection, it's so he won't mix up your names. And he's all about an unspoken bond or something special, but never about a relationship. And the whole arrangement was your idea, so you feel guilty that he cheated". Kate learned all this by observing her mother's relationships over the years.
'Happy Birthday Tuck'. When it is John's birthday, a guy is spray painting on the wall: 'Happy Birthday Tuck'. John's family is very rich, so he has a huge party, and everyone from the school is invited.

Kate knows that Scott likes her, and has a crush on her. She also knows she herself has a crush on Scott.
Jennifer and Jill. At the end of the movie, John says to his girlfriend Jennifer: "OK, Jennifer, I am not going to lie to you. Here is my other girlfriend Jill." The girl next to Carrie asks her: "Where were you last night? I didn't see you." Carrie replies: "I'm dating John Tucker!" Heather overhears this and throws the volleyball at Carrie's head. Carrie says: "What was that?" and then Heather replies: "Sorry, slipped." Carrie just thinks it is an accident, but Heather really does it on purpose. Carrie says: "OK, let's do this." She turns her head towards Heather. Heather throws another ball into her face. Carrie crashes to the ground and gets up, and says to Heather: "OK, that was not an accident." They start fighting over John Tucker. Beth comes up to Heather and Carrie and tries to set them apart. Beth says: "Girls, girls, we all know John is the one for me." They all get into a fight. Carrie attempts to throw a ball at Beth, but Beth ducks and it hits Kate. Kate gets muddled up in the fight too. Even the coach gets muddled up in the fight! Kate then blows the coach's whistle.
